Offseason Rumors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure but in minimal research, seems like a guy who could belt 25 HR in a hitter-friendly park, no?

Definitely think he'd get between 15-25 while playing a coherent left field and allowing Brantley to DH in the short term.

He can also likely play RF in the event Chisenhall flops.

Either way, you're adding a #5 hitter with power potential without the posting fee and a relatively respectable contract.

This is the type of move the Indians SHOULD be making IMO.

If he checks out with their own scouting, of course. These guys all look great based on the KBO numbers, but I've never seen more than a few youtubes of the guy.

Hes got AT LEAST a 65 bat flip, but the potential for 70 is there.

A 5 hitter who can actually hit for average, no less. AKA what we all wish(ed) Santana would be.

Freddie Freeman on the block apparently...what are the Braves doing...not going to have 1 recognizable player on their team next year.

$118M over the next six years?

It would be incredibly tough to take on for this team coming off what was a pair of disaster long-term deals.

Plus it's going to cost you a bigger haul than what they just got for Simmons.

Not sure they'll get into that.

The Indians are interested in Korean right-hander Seung-hwan Oh, reports Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Cleveland bid “aggressively” on first baseman Byung-ho Park but fell short of the division-rival Twins’ bid. However, Oh won’t be subject to the posting system given his professional service time in Korea, and Oh would present a much-needed late-inning option for manager Terry Francona to put alongside Cody Allen and Bryan Shaw. Oh, nicknamed “the Final Boss” and “Stone Buddha” in Korea, is said to be traveling to the U.S. to meet with MLB clubs this week.

This is really intriguing to me as I think adding another reliable late-inning reliever is as important as adding a bat.

The fact that his nicknames are "The Final Boss" and "Stone Buddha" is all I needed to read. Sign that dude to whatever monetary figure he wants.

David Ortiz is retiring after the 2016 season.

Between Bartolo Colon and David Ortiz who do you pick to be your shortstop?
