Another? When JR comes back the bench will have three players shooting threes @ 40%+. How many shooters do you need?

Exactly. We lack guys that can create for others. I'm not a hardcore Evans fan, but he fits the bill of what we're lacking.

Not everyone has to be a good perimeter shooter. Even GS doesn't have that at every position. Livingston isn't good beyond the arch.

Not to mention, he can guard Livingston. We've lacked guys that can. He's been a problem against us.

We all felt the same most of the regular season but a well rested Jefferson playing 10-14 mpg did real well for us in the playoffs last year. I still think he has that in him, but with the Korver addition, we don't have to count on it as much
We need a guy that can legitimately guard Kevin Durant. Barnes can do that.
We can't risk draining LeBron 3 games into the finals hoping Jefferson figures it out.
I'm not saying get rid of him. Just bring in another body to throw at Durant.

Agreed. We have plenty of shooters as currently constructed. We are lacking in the 2-way / athlete department. Tyreke would be a welcomed addition considering we were all clamoring for Lance Stephenson, who's essentially a poor mans Tyreke at his point.

Matt Barnes is a better player than RJ right now. He is a much better defender and 3pt shooter.
RJ is still a locker room sensation and I can't see the team releasing him at this point just to add Barnes.

I'll believe Barnes leaving the state of California by choice when I see it. Especially when he'll likely have the chance to take equal money from two teams he's played for before: Clippers and Warriors

For sure.

I'd at least be curious to see if D-Williams can do an honest job against Durant. I know, I know, I'm not saying it's ideal.

But given his size and athleticism, and strength.. He at least has some of things you'd like to have going against Durant. We're not going to stop him, but we just need him to not have it easy on that end of the court.

Durant scoring is not the problem. He's going to score no matter what, we just need guys that be can physical and make him work for his points, and you hope to at least wear him down some when the game gets tight.

If we don't fill the void of another wing, well, it's something to at least try.

Evans seems like such a great option in a buy out. It's honestly a no brainer. Playing with LeBron would maximize his abilities and maybe get him to tap into his potential he's shown. Also he is someone coming off the bench that is a playmaker, both for himself and others. He can create his own offense as well as set guys up. He would be a great fit.

He did pretty well against Paul George...I know not the same player, but as you said, Williams length and athleticism may at least slow him down.

I like Tyreke. I'm not sure at this point he's much better than Lance Stephenson though.
At least Lance could defend and make a jumper every now and then.

Yep, and we just can't ask LeBron to guard him the entire game. He's going to guard him some, no doubt, he almost has to. But we need to still mix up bodies, and we have no one else at all. Shump, Jefferson, and Korver, is just like taking candy from a baby. Those guys are fly on Durant. Unless he just completely gags, he's going to have no problem getting what he wants on them.

End of Business day I believe.

By the 1 year rule it would have expired Saturday I believe, but it is open through the end of the next NBA business day.

I believe the NBA business day ends at 4PM EST

As today is Presidents Day, I wonder if that deadline is pushed to close of business tomorrow (tomorrow being the first league day after Saturday's expiration)

I'd much rather have D-Will try to guard KD than Barnes... Hell if he is bought out he will probably call GS or the Clips for work
