I don't know about you, but I'm getting seriously jacked for this one. Time to find out what we really have this year. Washington is a good team, it's in there house, and we have to travel half way around the world to get there. Should be a challenge. I'm getting butterflies just thinking about it!

Yeah it should hopefully be a good game. I'd be very surprised if we won this game in convincing fashion. There's nothing better than watching a competitive game (except watching a Buckeye blowout) and thats what we should have on our hands here. GO BUCKS!

Hilarious...ESPN just lost what little credibility they had...

Ty Willingham > Jim Tressel?!?

The dude got fired from ND and I don't think he has ever won a bowl game...meanwhile Tressel has a handful of bowl wins, 1-1 in Nat'l Championships. Multiple Big 10 titles...I mean come on now, that's ridiculous.

^ Exactly what I can't stand about ESPN anymore - they say off-the-wall things just to get a reaction. It's like a bad sports talk radio host trying to drum up phone calls.

Arent they just talking about that single game?

Maybe they just think Willingham's coaching style will match up well against what Tressel does...I really hope that is all that means...

Because the numbers and records and number of national titles speak for themself...

My first chance to finally get to watch the Buckeyes this year. Very excited to see them. This will be like the opener to me since I havent see a game yet. We are getting Dish in our house as of the 1st of October so at least games on the BTN after that I will get to watch.

I think that has to be an error by ESPN. There is no one in their right mind that thinks that Ty is a better coach than Tressel... Absolutely no one.

Re: Oregon vs Michigan

washington looked good against the cuse (the only game of theirs that i got to watch), and they dominated their second game against a good team. I am nervous, what else is new? So i see Washington putting up at least 17, since their qb is projecting to be nfl quality (he is one of the fastest players on the team and can throw), but what about our O? Hasn't looked good. This is a test, and I hope that we can pull one out on the road, but the unknown is what makes college fb so damn fun.

I hope our D can hold them to 14, and force 3, yes 3, turnovers. But it won't be easy!

GO BUCKS!!

I'm predicting an INT return for a TD by Malcolm Jenkins

How about bucks 33-14?? Sounds good to me =D

Especially after being down 7-3 at halftime...

If Jenkins didn't step out of bounds, I believe you would have been right!

Eh. I'll take the win, but the team made so many mistakes, I think I have less confidence in them now then before. I was still holding out hope before this game that maybe, just maybe, this could be a 2002-ish team (as others have said). While they appear to have a national championship caliber defense like 2002, they don't have anything like Nugent at K, they don't have a dynamic returner like Gamble, and even the kick coverage teams are scaring me. They do have a stud power back in Beanie, like they did with Mo in 2002, but Boekman is no Krenzel. Krenzel would never lose a game for you. Boekman has a thing for tossing it to the other team. Not every school is going to drop those gift interceptions like Washington did.

I've gotta believe this team drops at least 2 along the way. Hopefully that's still good enough for a conference title and trip to a BCS bowl. Not the worst thing that could have happened, I guess.
