Exactly, those are all capitalist ideas that cause countless numbers of blue collar jobs to be shipped out this country. They in turn is going to increase the number of people on poverty. Let's face it I go to school in Akron and some of the students in my class SHOULD NOT BE THERE. They're wasting government money and my time as well. They could however work in a factory making steel wire if they wanted, or cars, or any type of factory jobs that are all slowly but surely being outsourced to foreign countries. They're being outsourced for the sole reason that it's cheaper to make it elsewhere and just import it back to the U.S.
I don't argue that it would take a lot of time and thought to change how the laws work in accordance with trading and outsourcing, but unless something is done in 20 years there won't be ANY factory jobs in this country and we will entirely a service country and nothing else. That's going to make the poverty rate in this country grow substantially. The world IS globalizing, but this country could sustain itself if we still had the factory jobs. Companies outside the U.S. would not be able to sell there products at a lesser price then people who make their products here, with minimum wage employees, if there was not free trade.
A.) Toyota is a prime example of what I'm saying. Companies will eventually bring their factories over here. There is another company from Sweedan (furniture manufacturer) that recently moved their factory's over as well because it's cheaper just to make it here and cough up the wages.
B.) It creates jobs because other countries nations cost of living rises. Therefore they demand more of our products.
C.) People in foreign countries have proven to be more productive then your classmates at Akron.
D.) What do you mean they SHOULD NOT be there? They don't have the right to go to school?
In the long run we will be better off with outsourcing.
Compalin about E85 raising the price of Durem Wheat and I'll agree. However, outsourcing is effeciant.
