Yeah, it's thin at top end talent, just about the only guy I'd be even remotely willing to take in the 1st is Richardson and I really don't want him. Once you get into the 3rd there are several RBs I'd love to go after. James is at the top of my list, Pead is second.
If there was no way the Browns could take RGIII at 4, what would you do, or who would you take? I'm very curious about this for all the RGIII lovers on here, since I haven't heard any of your backup plans yet.

I know it would send most of this board into a frenzy, but if RG3 is off the board at 4 I'd either hesitantly go Blackmon or look for a trade down similar to what Heckert did last year. Besides Luck and RG3 I'm really not all that enamored with anyone we could get in the top 5. This is a draft that has a lot of top end talent at LT which is a position we clearly don't need to fill. I'm vehemently against taking a RT in the 1st and the only RB I'd be moderately okay with in the 1st is Trent. So if Heckert made a trade down I'd like to see him target someone like Kendall Wright or go defense as the only offensive positions I really want to touch in the 1st would be QB or WR. I trust him to make the right choice.
That's also why I'm more willing to trade up and secure RG3 if necessary. I don't think it will cost as much as most people to do and I'm confident that he will be a phenomenal player at the most important position on the field.
I'm interested in why you seem to have so much disdain for anyone who wants to draft RG3.
No, no, no. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to draft RGIII at 4. I don't want to move up and give up #22 though. If we can get RGIII at 4, I'll be a ridiculously happy camper. It would bring so much more energy and excitement to this city.
BUT I still want to sign a Veteran QB in the off-season so that RGIII can sit a year and learn. Someone like Jason Campbell, etc.
lol wut?
I've said it before? I'd love to grab RGIII at 4. He really won me over towards the end of the year. I just don't know how everyone claims him "a franchise QB" this quickly. He has doubts that come with him.
I would RATHER draft Blackmon at 4, but I'd still love to grab RGIII if he's there.
Does Blackmon (size, hands, system) not have weaknesses?

You have a funny way of twisting words all the time. I NEVER said he doesn't have weaknesses, every player has weaknesses even Andrew Luck.
I just have a different view of how I would build the team from here on out than you. Quit being a jackass.
