Playoff Positioning

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
By next years time they wont even have Whiteside. He's about to bank.
and how sweet would that be? Leave them fallen on their flopping asses.

I predict middle of the pack misery for Miami Heat basketball for the foreseeable future.

After this 4 game stretch against the Hawks and Western Conference contenders, our final 15 games only has 5 games against teams with winning records, including 2 against Milwaukee. It also has a nice stretch of 7 games in 18 nights. We set up well for the final push of positioning and appropriate rest for our heavy lifters.

I'd say so, Whiteside is going to have a ton of options, Dragic will probably leave as well he's been linked to NY. Wade is another year older as well is Deng, Bosh has a very serious issue but should recover. The Godfather is the only thing going for them, we all know you can't count him out. But on paper it doesn't look good.

Because +/- is the only stat that matters, right?...

No one wants to see the Thunder in the playoffs let alone the first round. At full health, that team is a really tough out. They're actually my pick to win it all this year.

No one wants to see us either though. The more I watch the Cavs the more I'm convinced we'll cake-walk to the Finals. Unless we run into Chicago...I think they'll be at full strength come playoff time and that team at full strength is right up there with ours in terms of fortitude. I'm confident we can beat any other team in the East but if we run into them and they're healthy I think it's a toss up as far as who'll advance.

Exactly, look at the rest of the picture, Westbrook had an exceptional game by any other measure:

Of course, the whole "barely beating the 76ers at home" thing still stands, as does needing the bench to bail the starters out.

Tonight, we are all Thunder fans.

Oh, welcome back Sager!

Not afavorable comparative remaining schedule.. 9 tough games for us, 8 bulls and 5 raptors

But we'll win all of our non tough games. Non tough games are 50/50 propositions for Chicago and Toronto at this point.

Gasol getting away with basket interference before half was nice.

I've been as critical of Wesbrook as anyone over the years, but if you don't think he's a monster, then you're crazy. The guy clearly should be considered for MVP.

The numbers he's putting up is incredible.

EDIT: I HATE THE FUCKING BULLS WITH PASSION!

Not shocked the Bulls haven't really dropped off. So many people keep disrespecting them. Even without Rose, who really isn't even that good anymore, they're still a threat.

They will get Butler back. Rose or no Rose, doesn't really matter much.

Huge choke job by OKC. Westbrook may be putting up sic numbers, but he also totally phased out his teammates late. And it cost them. Cannot believe the Bulls won this game. LOL. Why won't this team die??

Westbrook had Ibaka wide open on the play before the winning 3 and ignored him.
