Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Question.

Is there some sort of quick reference for defensive matchups that is oriented towards fantasy play?

For example, this team has a great DL, or has a great secondary, etc. Maybe even how many good secondary players they have.

Like last week I played Mike Wallace in my flex, and he was matched up with Joe Haden who was on him like white on rice all game, despite the Browns having an overall crummy secondary.

It's usually specific to the player rather than the defense. So you either have to:

(A) get lucky and have a platform like cbs or rotoworld that identifies that match-up in their blurbs.

Or

(B) do the research yourself

Which WRs you guys think I should start this week?

Got available:
Demaryius Thomas
Marlon Brown
Roddy White
Greg Little
Greg Jennings
Leonard Hankerson

Roddy White's questionable status is making me wonder if I should take a gamble with someone else. Right now I was considering Thomas, Brown, and White

Then not White and not a Brown. :chuckles:

I picked up Pierce seconds after Rice went down on that non contact injury. If he's still available in your league, I might do the same. No word on how long Rice will be out, but he was limping pretty bad.

I don't even have anyone with double digits right now, somehow I'm still up.

I've got:
WR Victor Cruz
RB Reggie Bush
-------------
QB Kaepernick

vs

Opponent:
QB Drew Brees
WR Hakeem Nicks
RB David Wilson
--------------
PK Phil Dawson

I might have a slight advantage there, but it hasn't been going well and the Giants offense helps both of us. Really didn't leave anything on the bench unless Decker crawls out from under a rock.

Trying to decide between starting Jared Cook @ ATL or Greg Olsen @ BUF? I have Cook in there tentatively, but have been second guessing myself. Any opinions for me?

Boy did I make the wrong call on this one. Started Cook (1.5 points) over Olsen (17.9 points) and Tori Smith (12 points) over Mike Wallace (22 points). I'm getting demolished this week.

Starting to think the bench, or even free agency is the best spot for David Wilson.

Don't want to give up on him right now considering it's only week 2, but at the same time it's clear the Giants' offense isn't comfortable with him right now.

I ended up losing both my leagues this week. The joys of playing my brother who has Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham, and my other brother who has Aaron Rogers and Calvin Johnson.

All my guys are heavy targets, heavy yards, ZERO touchdowns. Not a single one out of my starters or my bench. Killing me.

The Denver Broncos are officially a running team. Jesus.

Never expected more than half of their touchdowns to be on the damn ground.

Ugly Sunday for my two teams.. I think it's nap time.

Currently up 91-57, I got AJ Green left and he's got Lynch and Gore....think I should be okay. 2-0 here I come!

I think it might be time to start Vick...can't believe I got him in the 9th round or something and he's averaged something like 34 pts for me the first two weeks on the bench, vs. Stafford's low 20's average.

Ridley also effing sucks. Coulda played McFadden or Moreno over him.

Nothing worse than your team having a great week but still losing because literally everyone on the other guy's team went completely off. The team I'm playing against scored 199 fucking points. Ridiculous.
