Yeah, Gone Girl was fucking phenomenal. I haven't read the book so I can't speak on it from that perspective but it was a damn good movie. 9/10 for me.

I heard the last minute or so of the film was rather anticlimactic and actually had a number of other moments throughout that would've been more fitting for an ending? Thoughts?

The Firm - 4.5/10

I remember the book being a lot more exciting than the movie. The movie was sooooo meh !!!! I cant pinpoint one scene that stood out sadly. And it was such a good book.

Sabotage - 6.5/10

This movie has a good story line. It is more CSI ish than an action movie which is misleading with Arnie in the cast. But this is basically a who dun it mystery with a violent ending. If you want an action movie then this is the wrong one - but if u want a mystery movie then u have a good DVD to watch.

Sin City - A Dame to kill for: 5 /10

The 5 ratings are for Eva Green getting nude, Otherwise this movie pales in comparison with its predecessor. It was not interesting unique or even exciting.

Watching Wrong Turn for the second time. Very good by horror movie standards.

The script acknowledges that it's covering old ground and that there's some clear horror movie stereotype characters, but overall it's really entertaining. Special effects, design and make-up are good. It's thrilling. And the horrible acting is pretty much acknowledged with some of the lines.

By regular movie standards, 5/10. By horror movie standards it's a solid 7.5/10

Is that the one where a chic stand through the sun roof of a driving car that goes against a tree and a crazy decapitation screen much later in the movie ?

Are there any horror movies where both of those things DON'T happen?

Annabelle is too old school - Would have been a nice movie 2 decades back but in this day and age - there have been better movies.
