I actually caught "Role Models" on Sunday night with Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott. Hadn't seen it before but was recommended to me by girlfriend's brother. Really enjoyed it to my surprise. Great chemistry between Rudd, Scott and their young actor counter-parts. Real feel-good story with a solid message and some hilarious spots to keep you engaged for a light-hearted comedy.

Yeah, I liked it. Wasn't crazy good but it kept me entertained.

Do yourself a favor and watch the entire Dollars trilogy. Become familiar with Gian Maria Volonte.

The spaghetti westerns were awesome. Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, and the capper. What is wild is watching these movies and seeing how they did so much with so little- somehow even making it less expensive to use Italians as standins for Mexicans. And Clint Eastwood was as sexy as he was ever going to get, and with having minimal knowledge of comic books, I have to think he and the Man With No Name were the inspiration for Wolverine. Clint would have played a great one.

It hit me while watching The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly -- Hugh Jackman looks exactly like a young Clint Eastwood.
Not to mention that Tuco from that movie was inspiration for Vince Gilligan's Tuco Salamanca character in Breaking Bad.

I think the best Clint Eastwood western is The Outlaw Josie Wales. Lots of great, quotable scenes, Also liked High Plains Drifter a lot. Gives a whole new meaning to "painting the town red."

But the score from The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly is hard to top....

Transformers - Age of Extinction 4 / 10

If by Age of Extinction, Michael Bay was referring to the Transformers franchise then he got it spot on. With every part the Transformers movies are getting more and more boring. This movie has to be the worst of the lot (for now). This movie is close to 3 hours long but could have been finished under 2 hours. The interactions between humans which peppered this movie felt unreal, forced and simply unnecessary. The special effects were nice, but if you have seen the three earlier movies then there is nothing new expected.

Anyone seen Gone Girl? Thinking of going tonight. It's gotten great reviews so far.

Can someone pre-screen Annabelle for me? It looks so fucking stupid, that I can't imagine they'd put this in front of people if it was't tongue in cheek...

Watching sex tape 8/10 jason segal and cameron diaz carry a crazy plot with huge product placement really well.

Gone Girl 8.5/10

I really enjoyed this movie. I went in without any expectations, my wife read the book and really wanted to see it. I was surprised how twisted it was at times, there were a few moments that my wife couldn't even watch. I thought it dragged on a bit too much at the end, other than that it was a damn good movie.

Rosamund Pike is gorgeous. I haven't seen her in much to this point, feel like this is the kind of movie that will take her career to the next level.

Silver Linings Playbook 7/10- rating would have been higher if it didn't get so sappy. I wasn't so crazy about how the dance scene was shot. But I get why they did it that way (as to not use body doubles).

Bradley Cooper was shockingly good. He's much better/believable in these types of roles.

I think I may watch The Graduate, tomorrow.

Yeah, Gone Girl was fucking phenomenal. I haven't read the book so I can't speak on it from that perspective but it was a damn good movie. 9/10 for me.

I'm freaking stoked for Interstellar. We're less than a month away and I'll need Gouri to give me a recap after he sees it so I know what the fuck is going on. Me and science don't get along. At all. But I love Nolan and I'm excited for this movie.
