Don't waste your time on Funny People. That movies gets a 2/10 from me.

Probably because you were expecting a full out comedy..

I loved it. It's not Apatow's typical work, which makes it unique, and Doctor is right, it's a lot like Click (which I also enjoyed), in that it's a comedy with a message.

The Blindside.....9.6/10

No offense to people's opinions... but doesn't giving movies like the Blindside a 9.6 cheapen the 1-10 system? :chuckles:

I mean damn... I really wonder if some of you have ever seen any truly great movies.

10 - The Godfather
9.6 - The Blindside
9.5 - The Godfather 2

District 9 - 9/10
Up - 9.2/10
Old Dogs - 4.5/10

I guess it depends on your opinion of what a great movie is right? This is my own personal rating on the movie. Just because I say it's a 9/10 doesn't mean you have the feel the same way. I personally wouldn't rate the Godfather that high, but again, that is my opinion.

Fanboys 8/10

If you're a Star Wars fan, then you have to see this.

Wanted - 8/10 seen it before, woke up this morning and caught the last 40 mins. Its not better than the comic and I still dont really like the main character but I still love the action scenes.

The Blind Side - 4

-lots of poor dialogue
-unrealistic scenes (unless "gangsters" really are huge pussies irl)
-it had basically no conflict (didn't touch on the NCAA investigation enough)
-most importantly, it was more about the Touhy family (and how they were total saints) than Oher and his story

+Quinton Aaron put on a good performance
+Sandra Bullock is in it (I have a strange attraction to her:dunno: )

All in all, they screwed up what could've been a good story by "Hollywooding" it, and it would've been much better from Oher's POV (not necessarily a documentary or anything, but that would've worked too).

Law Abiding Citizen 9.5/10 (Acting was great, and I was on the edge of my seat most of the time, great plot.)

Armored 8/10 (Overall pretty good film, it was pretty interesting but a little too unrealistic)

Ninja Assasin 8/10 (Great fight scenes, weak plot)

Is Public Enemies a good movie? Saw it on the shelf on the grocery store the other day....was wondering about it.

It was good, but the length of the film was a little too long, imo. Definitely worth seeing, though.

I just saw NARC with Ray Liotta. Pretty decent, I would give it around a 8.0

Saw Terminator --- give it a 7 as well. Way too much back and forth/good and bad/touchy feely crap goin' on. Just line up the robots and blow shit up next time. JMO.

Agreed completely. There are a lot of people with shitty taste in movies in this thread. Some movies that are getting 8+ are just garbage.

On the subject of Ray Liotta, go see Slow Burn if you haven't. I didn't have great expectations considering LL Cool J is one of the main characters, but I don't think I've ever watched a movie that had me guessing the entire time. I literally changed my mind about who the villain was probably ten times.
