Lol. So many people were so pumped on Scott a few days back, and now they'll all bummed.

But, this might have major implications on keeping Lebron...

Well, a lot of us wanted Jamison, and then OH MY GOD WE CAN GET AMAR'E! It's like being hinted you're getting a car for your birthday and expect something decent but used and then OH MY GOD BUGATTI and then oh, it's a Ford, okay. It'll get me where I need to go.

Amazing how many people are jumping back and forth between the Shaw and Scott bandwagons with the latest news the past couple days..

Before Shaw, everybody seemed to be okay with Scott..

Then with the Shaw news came and everybody loved it..

Now that we're back to Scott everybody seems pissed and can't believe they'd choose Scott..

Can someone explain the hate of Scott?

I really wish I could summon the hate to do it, but right now I feel like throwing myself out the window rather than telling you why we just hired the most flawed coach on the market.

Scott is respected much more around the league by players(IMO) which is a good thing. And I'm sure LeBron respects him.

I was never excited about him. I just think he has a lot of the same problems as MB did. Shaw has much greater potential, IMO, but obviously Shaw is also a bigger unknown. Shaw would have been the risk Dan Gilbert was talking about. We ended up going with a safer bet, or at least, we know what we are getting with Scott...

Many posters have too much pride, and once they start talking about how great option 1a could be for the franchise, they are initially spiteful towards option 1b... despite the true intentions of the franchise brass.

Let's be real: If Scott is coming because he thinks LeBron is re-signing or at least it gets us closer to LeBron re-signing then this isn't even debatable. LeBron is our best chance to win. That means Scott is our best chance to win.

That's weird. Maybe Shaw will be the next Lakers coach? That would make sense as to why Scott commits all of a sudden as his "dream job" is no longer available. Who knows?
