Season repentance and forgiveness – The Truth and Reconciliation Commission

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Time to calm down and keep the eyes on the prize. I think we are all here to support the Cavs. I am a self confessed newbie. I'm fortunate that I haven't had to live through 51 years of no titles although I can relate. It took till I was 36 before I saw my beloved Collingwood win the ultimate prize, I think I can relate.

I can definitely see both sides of the debate here. To those that have stuck by, through thick and thin, I tip my hat and agree that you have earned the right to be frustrated, critical, irate, agitated. Heres to hoping you can be elated in around 2 weeks time.

To the OP, I can see why this would smack a little of "I told you so", especially from a new member and quite frankly if I was a long termer it would annoy me to a degree.

On the converse I don't think that was the spirit of the original post thus I ask for a settling of the emotions and a concentration on why we are all actually here. To support a team doing what most thought they couldn't including me and at times many on the forum.

Might be time to close this source of angst and move on.

Peace girls and boys and go the cavaliers.

I can never eat a sandwich again without thinking of gouri.can't eat fruit without thinking of Jigo. cant eat Salad without thinking of David. The foods i can enjoy in peace is rapidly shrinking
Can you still eat sausage?

I'm from Akron born and raised. Been Cavs Browns and Indians fan since the 80's grew up on big Chuck and Little John DR BEN CRAZY. I try to stay more open minded because I know are fans today is not the fans of yesterday. Its bigger we have picked up Canadian fans from TT Anthony Bennett and Wiggins. Fans over sea with Blatt. Fans from Miami who are Lebron fans first and fans from Minnesota who are Love fans first.

Jesus, this thread has run it's course. Mods shut this one down. Nothing productive going on in here, funnel the conversations back to the other threads. We need intelligent talk.

Part of this cluster is the wait up to the finals. Threads like these happen, it's cool but what's going on in here isn't what RCF is known for.

This thread is some bullshit. It was funny, and fun and the idea was good while it lasted, but now it's toast.

This one went south on page #1. This would of been good for after we won the finals.

Here is mine i thought this would be Waiters brake out year. I thought Kyrie might suffer sharing the ball with Lebron. I was wrong repentance and forgiveness

I was super frustrated watching Dion chuck those long contested stepback twos, but as a Blatt fan I held out hope that Blatt would get him to buy in and start playing the role that was asked of him (basically what JR is doing now). I believed that Blatt's history of turning misfit/outcast players into productive role players/borderline (Euroleague) stars would repeat itself with Dion. Boy, was I wrong. I repent and ask for forgiveness from the RCF Gods...

As a side note, Dion's game always reminded me of this video:

I believed that this team could win a championship this year, unlike others. One thing I will admit was that I thought they would have a bit more struggles in the regular season.

With that being said, I have never doubted Delly one bit. I enjoyed watching him in college and loved us signing him. I always knew he would find a role in the NBA. So proud of him and his success, and very proud of this team as well. Can't wait to watch the Finals!

  • repenting for doubting the SA game with a minute left in the fourth. Sorry KI
  • repenting for being distracted by Shump's hair do every time I watch him on media clips
  • repenting for procrastinating this week. Is it tomorrow yet?
