'Fags' is pretty weak. You're right. There's really no more good epithets for gay people anymore, like none that are naturally funny or that don't sound terribly hateful. Queers and fags makes you sound like a dumbass high school jock or the guy from American Beauty that ends up killing the sick alpha badass version of Kevin Spacey.

But still...Gays have ruined gay jokes for me and others by perpetuating all this straight guilt. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Wait, wut..?

LeBron disdain shouldn't even come close to the joy of watching a Championship in Cleveland. About told him to surrender his seats forever.

Someone called him an ungrateful fan.

"Yes I'm an ungrateful cavs fan. That's why I had season tickets when we lost 26 in a row because your savior dipped out on this city, and subjected us to international embarrassment. Should I also cut him a percentage of my pay check too because he's lebron? If I do that do I get back the money for the 40+ games he dogged it this year? Or do I get back the awesome young players we traded or gave up for his all star team ? ... Thank you lebron for insisting on isolation offense because I love watching one guy take on 5 dudes while the rest of the team stands around. I'm going to thank Steph curry for being the best player in the NBA , the golden state warriors, the Atlanta hawks Chicago bulls San Antonio spurs Washington wizards, New Orleans pelicans, and the Indiana pacers with Paul George for playing exciting team basketball over the past few years . How many cavs games you been to?"

"Also milos teodosic and goran draagic .... Avery Bradley, lance Stephenson all more true to the game and more skilled (than LeBron). I could go on I'll just end this rant . Rest assured lebron already got his percentage of my money and it sickens me"

Hindsight bias.

Look I know you are totally joking, but this really proves the point, who saw JR Smith turning his entire career around in Cleveland?

He wasn't an asset in that trade he was considered a necessary throw-in, New York was glad to send him packing and Smith knew it.

My assessment of him at the time was based on watching him play in Denver and New York. I felt he would be traded at the end of the season and that would be that. Did he prove us wrong? Surely, but does that mean our assessments made, at the time, and with the information available were wrong? No.

And that's pretty much my point. We shouldn't need to repent for intelligent commentary and reasonable analysis, whether or not our predictions come about or not. To that end, the gist of this thread is really to suggest that we should simply trust in our betters and confess our ignorance and inability of making this kind of commentary - but what kind of forum would that be?
