Shaun Livingston Out For the Year

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That was really tough to watch when I first saw it. I've always been a fan of Livingston's game and hope he can get well.

I always liked Shaun but never thought of him as a huge difference maker people thought he would be. All that is coming to an end because he will be lucky to even play ball at the pro level again.

Telfair could have used college a lot more than Livingston IMO.He missed an oppurtuinity to play for Rick Pitino.

If Telfair had went to college, he never would have been a lottery pick or got an endorsement deal.

He can't shoot..is small...cant shoot...and is small.

He has been exposed in the NBA. He may stick around for a while and bounce around the league, but he will probably be like his brother in a couple of years over seas. The funny thing is...his brother is 10000x better than he is and he cant sniff the NBA now.

Shaun Livingston's injury

it was freakishly bad. here's the laundry list of his injuries:

TORN:
the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)
posterior cruciate ligament (PCL)
medial collateral ligament (MCL)
lateral meniscus

he also suffered a patella dislocation, in addition to the previously diagnosed tibia/femoral dislocation

for those who haven't seen it yet, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDrA0bWPlhU

he craps his shorts, not that I can blame him. you can clearly see it during the segment 22-28 seconds into the video.

the livingston video led me to the video of the wisconsin player that dislocated his elbow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZiLPZXjZd4&mode=related&search=

and that video led me to a kickboxer that broke his lower leg in a match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzH2iQmYXZ8

i should definitely warn you all not to watch the kickboxer video if you have weak stomachs or are prone to nightmares. it's pretty ghoulish...

Re: Shaun Livingston's injury

Thats a logo or patch on his shorts, the other clippers have the same thing.

Re: Shaun Livingston's injury

I couldn't even finish that. Literally. Turned it off after about 40 secounds.

I hope he can return from this someday, because he's a talented young-gun in this league. Reminded me of McGahee's knee against OSU in 02.

ahh, ok.

I personally feel that Livingston's career will never be the same. I don't see him fully recovering from this. Ever. Once that knee heals enough for him to play, he will be timid and wouldn't play to his full potential in fear of re injuring himself again.

But at least he took it like a champ. He didn't look like he was in pain at all when he was on the stretcher.
