Since people are talking about Chris Bosh being traded, I thought I might work out a deal that could work for all teams... It would work Wally for Bosh straight up, but that's unrealistic.

Cleveland Incoming: Chris Bosh, Nathan Jawai
Cleveland Outgoing: Wally, AV, Draft Pick

Toronto Outgoing: Chris Bosh, Nathan Jawai
Toronto Incoming: Wally, Joe Smith, Draft Pick

OKC Outgoing: Joe Smith
OKC Incoming: AV

Obviously this trade is advantagous for Cleveland and OKC.

Toronto would get two expiring contracts and would be well above the cap at the end of the season.

My first trade idea. So -Akronite-, if I'm an idiot, please let me know...:chuckles:

Thoughts?

Only trade I think they would even consider for Bosh would be

1. Wally
2. AV
3. 2 first round picks

or

1. Wally
2. AV
3. Hickson

To get Bosh, I'm almost sure we'd have to cough up
Wally
Andy
JJ
Two 1sts

for Bosh, and a bad contract.

Might even have to throw west or boobie in there as well.....it takes alot of talent and picks to get a top 10 talent back who is still young. And, bosh is arguably one of the top 10 players in the league right now.

Lets see who is better.

LBJ
Howard
Kobe
Wade
CP3

then it gets iffy..

Duncan
Amare
Dirk
Roy
Yao
Nash
KG

You can throw others on there, I wouldnt take Dirk over him or nash, and I think Yao is a bit over rated. Duncan i wouldnt take just because of age over Bosh, but in his prime with out a doubt. Basically Bosh is averaging 23/10 and would be an absolute monster offensively for us. He is arguably a top 10 talent rightnow in the league. I like amare's defense better than Bosh, but maybe under MB he could learn better defense. It took alot to get a disgruntled KG, inculding multiple picks and young players, and Bosh is even younger. Would it be worth it? Ask a Boston fan if selling the future to win a championship now is worth it. I would do whatever it took and not think twice. Think about it. If we got to keep Mo and Z, you could sub my grandma in the starting lineip at sg much less pavs and we could a championship.

Here's my scenario. It involves giving both 2009 2nd round picks to New York, and a 2010 First Round pick to Toronto.

The Cavs take some bad deals, but they become far and away championship favorites for the next 10 years, as they get a top 10 NBA talent to replace Varejao, and they aren't giving up serious talent at any other position.

The Knicks get cap relief, get rid of a bad contract, and get two 2nd round picks, in exchange for trading David Lee, a 2009 first round pick from the cavs might also be required, which would be tough on the

The Raptors get a ton of talent in this deal, they our basically set for years in the frontcourt. Jermaine O'Neal will expire, and then they have AV at Center, JJ Hickson at PF, and David Lee to swing between both. They also get a competent defensively minded SG in Pavlovic, along with a 2010 draft pick.

It's a huge price for the Cavs to pay, but our team for the next two years looks like:

PG - Williams/Gibson
SG - West/Gibson
SF - Lebron/Kapono
PF - Bosh/Wallace/Jackson
C - Z/Curry/Jackson

:stupid: We are not trading for Eddy Curry. We are trying to keep the good chemistry not ruin it

Hey, don't single me out. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who could tell you you're an idiot.:king:

But in all seriousness, Toronto will want more than a couple expirings for Chris Bosh. Though, I wouldn't mind trading AV if we got Bosh in return and Joe Smith got bought out to play for our bench (drools). Unfortunately, that'll never happen.

BTW, call me Acorn.

Toronto wouldn't accept Wally, AV, JJ, Boobie and 2 picks for Bosh

If I am the Cavs, I do that instantly. Wally buys out and comes back, and we get a throw in guard from Toronto.

Mo
West
LBJ
Bosh
Z

Bench: Ben, Sasha, Darnell, Wally, TOR Guard, TK, Lorenzen

Yes our bench becomes pretty bad, but I don't care.

Your basically trading AV and JJ for Bosh, and Boobie for a TOR guard. Who cares about our 30th overall picks.

We can't get Bosh in a trade. It's just not possible IMO.

Nobody has told me about my trade good or bad. I need an answer people.

Snow, Boobie, Sasha, JJ/DJ 1st rounder for Bosh, Graham.

First round draft picks don't mean that much when a team is projected to finish Top 3 in the league.

That would be the worst trade in history.

It is CHRIS BOSH. He is a top 10 player in the NBA. He is not coming here.

only way the cavs get bosh is if they offer

West, Andy, wally, 2 first round picks and 3 2ed round picks

If we want to trade for bosh we would need to get a 3rd team that has a GOOD young SF/SG that we could give wally.

next year at the deadline bosh will be alot less

maybe ben, gibson 09 first player, Djackson and 2010 first round pick

maybe not even that

If Bosh is on the block, it may be in our best interest to talk to the management to see what they are looking for (not players). If they say a Defensive SF, then hey! Let's bring Charlotte into this with Gerald Wallace, and also give them Andy and etc. I don't know, but the Cavs could be able to get away with trading the least, but getting the most in some three-way, and I'm sure Ferrry will look at those.

I 100% agree.

I think we have a better shot at Bosh next year at the deadline with Ben's contract. We would have to give them young talent, next year...as of now...we still have or 1st and 2nd pick I believe, so that could add a few more pieces. If they stink next year, and Bosh makes it very clear he isnt resigning and wants to be traded to Cleveland, they might just do it. He can basically tell any team he wont resign with them so he will be a very expensive rental. This is not to unsimular on the shaq deal to Miami. I dont think we have a shot at him this year, but next year it could happen. I wouldnt bet on it for even money or anything, but it could happen.
