Since people have been talking about Chris Bosh being traded...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That would be the worst trade in history.

It is CHRIS BOSH. He is a top 10 player in the NBA. He is not coming here.

Somebody posted what they traded VC for. So lets not say that he will not be coming for sure. Also somebody made a list of teams that are contenders, and the list showed the PFs that those teams had. Most top teams have good PF's. So it is just us, Portland Atlanta, NOH (to a lesser extent), Miami, and Denver (to a leser extent). No team that already has a good-star PF is going to trade youth, picks, expirings for bosh. I mean he is a hell of a player, but the only way a team is trading for him is if they need him. Portland can make the best offer out of anybody though. Outlaw, Aldridge, picks, Fernandez, etc. They have some god pieces they could trade.

I would shorten that list, allredge and west are studs, and smith is nice for atlants. Miami and Denver have limmited but good pf's, maybe throw atlanta in their too...but no way noh and portland.

Well i agree about NOH, and Portland, but I have been talking to Portland fans, and they said they would be interested in Bosh for Aldridge and Outlaw plus filler. So I just assumed that they would be game.

But I do agree. NOH doesn't need him. They have West who seems to have good chemistry with Paul. And actually Miami has nothing outside of Wade and Beasley Toronto would want, so really they might not even be options. Denver has Nene who to me is a PF so if they could trade for a C it would be better for them (KMart for Kaman?).

Most those teams you consider "in it" already have good PF's.

Portland - Aldridge (they wouldn't trade him for Bosh)
Atlanta - Josh Smith (not trading for Bosh)
New Orleans - David West (not trading for Bosh)
Miami - Beasley/Haslem (could I guess, allows Beasley to move to 3)
Denver - (Maybe, but they're cap conscious and have tons of money tied up in big men)

So out of 6 I would say 3 would actually have a need at PF. Cle, Miami, Denver. You also left out the Bulls, who I would think could be players.

Well I don't really consider the Bulls contenders. So I don't know why a young team that is just rebuilding is going to trade away some picks, young players to get a 2 year rental PF.

They're in the playoff picture in the East, have a good young PG, have some decent trade bait, and with a player like Bosh they could be extremely competitive the next two years. If you consider Miami a contender the Bulls should be considered as well.

And I've talked to Blazer fans who think Bosh is the most overrated PF in the league and wouldn't want anything to do with him. In the end I just don't think that Port would be interested since they're already solid down low.

I guess if you want to look at it like that. I think Miami is in the same situation as we are with LBJ/Wade. They need to win or he is going. So they don't really have a long window with him as the Bulls do with Rose. Rose even if he just takes the QO will still be a Bull for 4 more years. Any way I just don't think that the Bulls could win a championship (neither can the Heat). The Bulls don't actually have any thing that I can think of that would be interesting to Toronto. Ben Gordon is a small contract, Hinrich is a PG, Gooden/Hughes (lol), Deng is alright, but I don't think Toronto would like him. Noah/Thomas suck, Nocioni is pretty good, but it would take more than just him.

Portland fans are delusional if they think Bosh is over rated. They have been talking up Roy/Oden/Fernandez/etc so long that they are believing the hype. Aldridge for Bosh would be a steal like the Gasol trade. But I don't think they would do it. They would have to give up a lot of young talent.

i agree this is the exact type of trade portland might do.. Allredge and Outlaw are both above average young players...in fact I think allredge might be a top 10 pf in this league, but Bosh is one of the top 3 pf's...so upgrading at power foward at the expense of depth (outlaw) makes alot of sense. Infact, thats exactly how I see portland using their young pieces. i just hope it isnt Bosh, i want him...then again they could also offer the same for Amare ....wow that would be quite the starting 5

Black or Rodrequez
Roy
Batum
Amare
Oden

with rudy , prez and the other pg off the bench...that doesnt include frye or webster who they could also trade for a piece they like more, ofcourse not as good as bosh or amere, but a solid backup like AV level could be had for frye plus webster for the right gm. Plus who knows if bayless develops.

I never said they weren't delusional, but I know that's how some of them feel. If Portland offered Outlaw, Aldridge and a couple first rounders to Toronto today I think Toronto would need to seriously consider it. Let alone if they were actually trying to move him.

I agree. That replaces Bosh sort of, and it gets them that wing player they NEED.

Yeah that is why I see Portland as a threat. IMO they would really only be losing Aldridge, but be gaining Bosh. That team could even trade for LeBron for all we know. Outlaw/Aldridge/Roy for LeBron. They wouldn't do that, but I think we might consider if we knew that he was leaving. (Not that I think that is all that Bron is worth. lol)

On that real GM "that site is a joke" Tor fans think they will get to world for bosh lol

even a poor lakers fan was trying to do a trade for bosh

If ferry gets bosh this year he is a beast but I think we MIGHT have a pretty good shot next year. if we could get a steal and get a good SG/SF for wally and then resign andy then trade ben jj or dj and 09 pick with 2 first we would be loaded and everyone pretty young

thats the best moves I'd see for the cavs.

Ben, JJ, 09 first player and 2 first round picks would be more than enough for bosh next deadline Might even get to keep a first or JJ :)

2010 roster going into playoffs

PG Mo, Gibson
SG West, G-Force
SF James, G-Force
PF Bosh, JJ or DJ which one not traded for bosh
C Z, Andy

I think thats VERY do able and would have the cavs only needing a back up Center when Z is gone with out MLE in 2010 offseason.

How do you propose we get Gerald Wallace AND Bosh without giving up West, Boobie, or Andy, and still keeping one of either JJ or DJ?

Essentially you said you think we can trade Wally, Ben, Pavs and let's say JJ plus draft picks and get Wallace and Bosh? Not going to happen unless both teams get REALLY desperate.

I see you said 2010, but I still don't see it happening. Wally and Pavs for Wallace and Nazr probably isn't going to work. I suppose it might be possible if we throw in a pick... then I suppose next year you are thinking trade Ben, JJ, and a couple picks for Bosh, which may be somewhat possible if Toronto is tanking and Bosh wants out, and JJ has shown lots of potential.

G-Force and filler for Wally is what I was thinking if not then get another SG/SF for wally thats young 25-28 and could be an better backup than wally and pavs

Bosh would be cheap next deadline pretty much just wait young guys and picks something the cavs will have a lot of.

so we just need to find a wally trade......G-force or Redd maybe someone unknowed named that could play well West is going to start no matter who we bring in unless its a Wade or someone thats an allstar
