So long, Kay Felder

Better tonight. He rushed his passes. He could have had 4 more assists easy

I think he has decent vision but needs to work on placement on passes. Sometimes it seems guys aren't ready for the ball and are surprised by his passes, but alot of them are just too low. His biggest problem he has right now is he doesn't have one consistent shot. He is fairly inconsistent shooting basically all over the court, nothing to build off of. He is always trying something different at the rim, I wish he would try to focus on knocking down a floater like Delly or something.

The group he was with at least looked all on the same page with him in the game vs Calderon. Hopefully Felder will end up on a two way contract and with some help from IT in practice he finds a go to shot. I'm not sure how a 15 ft shot helps him if he can't finish at the rim. With his speed and court vision, he needs to be a drive and kick PG. The 15 ft shot can come into play after he figures out how to knock down a shot at the rim.

Can Felder be brought back on a 2 way contract or do we have to wait a year to resign him because of the Z rule?

Who cares?

We still have a two way contract slot open. I'd rather fill it with Felder than some random g-leaguer. The front office thought enough of Felder to draft him a year ago. With IT on the roster, maybe under his mentorship, Felder makes the jump and becomes an asset for this team.

Not an NBA caliber project player. Enjoy your pending European vacation.

I know everyone dreams of playing in the NBA but I had a good friend play 8 years in Europe and it is awesome. Made good money, around a million or so equivalent and experienced several different cultures and countries first hand by living there. Started in a league in Denmark I believe, played in the main Euro league then finished in China.

We should all be so lucky to get to spend our 20's abroad as a star making great money and having incredible experiences.

Yeah I knew a guy who starred at Valley Forge, went on to Youngstown State, then became a lifer in the UK at point guard. Worked with another guy who started at University of San Francisco, played a decade in Germany, came back to be a counselor and coach. It's a great gig, and I bet Kay will be a lifer starting in Euroleague. No shame in that.

If eligible I'd much rather see Felder or a young player be in our two way player slots than John Holland. As well as Holland has played in the preseason, he is 28 and will be 29 in November. I'd much rather take two big swings at players for a worst case scenario if LeBron leaves. Try and get two players in the same age range as Cedi and Zizic to rebuild our rotation. Use the two way contract for actual future development, not as a reward for playing well on the Canton Charge.

Plus living and many expenses paid for. I have a friend as well and he was a fringe D1 player but he could shoot. Played all over Europe and just kept banking money.

The big problem with Felder is that he was terrible at basketball

And in the end that just proved to be too big of an obstacle standing in the way of his professional basketball career

The joke of the front office takes another L

Wonder what horrible college player they draft next

Stay tuned

You were right about him from the beginning. And I was wrong. I really wanted him to make it, but in the end he's too much a scrub and too physically challenged.

What exactly were you expecting from the 54th pick in the draft?

You know that nobody selected after Kay Felder in 2016 has ever played a game in the NBA?
