So Long, Mo Gotti Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love Mo. He fits perfectly. He is money from all over the court. He's a solid floor general..

I'll just say,if its a Cle/GS finals again...with Mo and RJ out there....we won't have to worry about those 2 minute 14, point swings because we'll throw it right back at them.

This team is special.
And with the depth to throw an athletic defender like Cunningham at Thompson or Curry (in a pinch) - I love our options.

Criticize Mo’s defense all you want...but the fact is as long as Kyrie is out, and Love struggling to get into any kind of offensive rhythm, we would be completely lost without his scoring contributions each night.

Its funny how the play style over the last week and a half really feels like an extension of the ‘08-’10 Cavs. Mo and LeBron sliding right back into their familiar roles from the first go-round has a lot to do with that.

Mo is legitimately playing at a near All Star level right now.

17 ppg, 5 apg, and 3 rpg while shooting on near 50/40/90 splits (his FG% is a little under at 49.5%).

What an unbelievable pickup. I'm so glad he's back.
I was thinking about this the other day. If Kyrie remains out, it's not totally unrealistic that Mo could be an All Star.

Pretty unreal.

Is it still bizarre (in a totally awesome way) for anybody else to see LeBron and Mo sharing the court as Cleveland teammates once again?

To be honest, I was not initially happy about the acquisition of Mo. Reminded me too much of my hopes getting smashed, seeing him flail in the post-seasons, not being the guy we needed when it really mattered.

Now after watching the team, the depth that he adds along with RJ, is a huge huge huge deal. If we do not win it all this year we never will.

Nah, we are one of the favorites now, but our window of opportunity for the trophy extends beyond JUST this year.

Could it be that, outside of Aldridge, Mo was the best signing in FA this year? Definitely most underrated so far, in my opinion.

Only reason I disagree is because 2 of our big 3 can NOT stay healthy. Love looks like he might need knee replacements soon and brittle Irving once slapped a wall during practice and broke his hand....

The Mo acquisition has been huge. Obviously they knew Kyrie would be out awhile and relying on Delly for a quarter+ of the season was probably not a great solution. Mo's experience with Lebron and overall offensive prowess has been a major contributor to our great start of the season. Loved Mo then, love Mo now. Ironically, I only like Love.

It feels like I stepped into some kind of bizzaro time machine at times watching these games... like The Decision never happened and we’re picking up right where we left off last time.

I’m sure i’ll feel differently though once Kyrie comes back and we see this team’s offensive efficiency (hopefully) skyrocket.

If Andy got more minutes with the starting group, it'd feel a LOT like 2008.

The frustrating thing with Mo is that if his shot isn't going down he becomes a huge liability, because on defense he's letting guys drive right past him.

He has got to do better with the effort level on that end because our whole D collapses and the opponent gets a free layup at the rim or an open 3 when the ball swings around. It's especially tough since Love isn't the most athletic defender and if he's the one switching over he won't be quick enough to get back to his man or we just give up the layup.
