Re: So Clippers owner Donald Sterling is extremely racist
I don't know. If I call someone a fat ass on the street does that not make me a bully? Even if I have never called someone fat before in my entire life, vut just decided to that day for kicks, I don’t think it would matter to that person. They have likely spent their entire life with the fat jokes (or in this case ugly). You add in to that that shaq, one of the most recognizable people on the planet said that, not to this persons face, but in a public, very public spot for the whole world to see, and I think it is worse than a normal everyday bully that will likely be serving you hamburgers after highschool, don't you?
That's weak. Doesn't bullying involve *repeated* acts of aggression towards someone, either physical or verbal? With the intent of causing intimidation or harm?
That is not what Shaq did. His actions could be considered offensive, but they're not bullying. l I don't understand why people purposely misrepresent situations to get themselves or other people angry.
I'm sure the criticism Shaq has received for this has ALREADY been a learning experience for him. It wasn't a hate crime.
It's time to quit with the mob and pitchfork mentality and recognize when it's time to let things go.
