Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The futures took a sharp dive starting aboard 9pm when people first started realizing Trump could win. They bottomed out and had already nearly completely rebounded by the time he was declared the winner. Had it not rebounded, the markets certainly would have opened sharply down.

I went to bed about 3-4 hours before it was declared. Hadn't found an article that talked about a rebound.

It's really scary how many nearing retirement age adults have little knowledge of the market; I feel like my parents are in total terror, and rightfully so, of retiring. They are largely unprepared, and ultimately lost big chunks of 401k in the recession that should have rebounded, but probably had poor stock/fund choices.

Can new home buyers expect prices of homes to come down ? Or will it raise ? Or not be affected ?

Personally I think in general prices will come down as rates come up. Most people are payment shoppers.

And eventhough i have been doing mortgages for 15 years, it is as much of a guess as anyone else...no one really knows.

So you're the perfect person to talk to for someone trying to buy a house in the East Valley next year? :chuckle:

Hey real estate guys. Why is Zillow.com showing my house value skyrocketed last month?

Just a weird site error or should I cash in?

Zillow uses algorithms that can be off. Look at comps in your area to really figure what your home is worth.

Anyone got any insight on some stocks to keep an eye on, now that Trump's in. Thanks!!

I fought all morning over whether or not to invest in Smith & Wesson.

Up 10% today. Screwed that pooch.

Went into Ruger at 50.1. Again screwed up by not buying at open, but I still think it's a good price. Was at $65 pre-election. Now I know that was priced to a market where Hillary won and people loaded up on guns, but I just don't believe the 23% down tick was warranted.

Will happily sell this puppy at $55 if it hits it over the next two weeks and run away like a madman with a 10% return. Will probably just hold if it hovers around the 48-52 area and go long on it. It's still right around the 52 week low and they just had a really good earnings call.

Just gotta keep chipping away ;)

Approve on the Ruger plan. Do you have options on Ruger?

I don't. I usually just buy place 1K on any of these bets and don't have more than a few going at once since I'm pretty new to this. I just don't value the added protection of options at the price for this smaller scale. If I were moving a large sum of cash I'd probably partially hedge or just buy options, but right now I'm just directly investing.

If I ever wanted to short I would probably buy a put instead, but so far I've just been on the buy side.

What's your plan for 52.01+ if your long position is 48-52? Are your needed ROI 10% or greater? If no, I'd suggest-personal strategy- that you set an exact spot for a sell(profit and loss) and everything between be long.

I'm not familiar enough with Ruger to say where my long window would be, but 48-52 is really logical.

I have a limit order to sell at 54.

Also I've just been dumping money into mobileye. I think people are overreacting to the Tesla spat. Mobileye just had a great earnings call, beat projections, and goes down 8.5%?

Lol, k. Not buying it.

Bomb limit order.

Not familiar with Mobileye and Tesla, but did research and everything I read I agree with.

Please let it ride to a buyout. It's such a prime company with a big headstart in the market. Eventually, Tesla will have to buy it or risk tanking because someone will buy it. As much as people ride Tesla, very little of their tech is internally designed. Huge risk for them, great spot for Mobileye.
