Subway

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Subway is such trash. I ate a lot of it in college because I had to pinch pennies on my mealplan and a five dollar footlong was decent at it (and UoA doesn't have a ton of options). Shitty bread, lack of meat, mediocre veggies at best, and that smell. I could walk by Subway and smell my jacket hours later and it would reek.

Wish we had more options down in Akron/North Canton. I don't usually eat subs but Quizno's, Jimmy John's, and Penn Station are all sooooo much better. Penn Station has some of the best fries I've ever had.

Grinders is awesome but it's a sit-down diner place (used to work there). Highly recommended.

Oh is that why most of them are gone?

On a side note, I do like Quiznos, but I don't think it's worth the price.

I'd rather spend 8 bucks on an actual good-tasting sub than 6 bucks on trash. Quizno's loses to Subway because it isn't marketed as well.

Come to down town Canton. 6th street northwest there is a little restaurant called ThatsaWrapp. Wraps, salads, and homemade soups. Fucking amazing. Great beer selection too. Probably close to 50 craft beers.

I think I've heard of that place. Dont make it down to Canton often but next time I do and I'm hungry I'll have to give it a shot.

I used to pass right by 5 different subways on my drive to work. I had about a 45-minute commute, but it's not like I live in an urban area, I'm out in the sticks. Compare that to only passing one McDonalds, BK, Wendy's. It's like every other gas station around here has a Subway in it.

On a side note, I like Subway. Eat there all the time.

If we're not talking chains, Mister Spots in Bowling Green is an amazing sub joint. Great sandwiches, both Philly and cold cut, and awesome waffle fries that are always made to order. I went back to BG to visit some friends a few months back and Spots was the first place I wanted to go to eat. I used to order from them like once a week when I went to college there.

I'd rather save 3 bucks and eat a 5 dollar sub. Quizno's is good like I said, but the 3 bucks up charge I can't justify. It's like upgrading Long John Silvers with Captain D's. Both are pretty shitty.

BTW I have no idea where the closest Quiznos is to here because they seem to have all went out of business.

This.

Also, has anyone ever had East of Chicago Pizza's subs?! Orgasmic. Try the italian, the spicy steak, and the chicken bacon ranch. Totally worth the extra dough.

Foot long turkey (not turkey breast) on wheat. With everything on there (spinach subbed for lettuce), no olives or any dressings except for oregano. That's how I do it.

Kouki, if you're planning a trip to ThatsaWrapp head down there next Tuesday. They do a Mardi Gras theme. Lots of New Orleans inspired food. It was amazing last year.

There is 14 subways in downtown Cleveland.

Rather have fried chicken and watermelon

Like I said, pretty much any pizza place has better subs then any of those fast food chain ones. Marco's has pretty good ones, Romeo's are cronic, Domino's is even better (and they are the Quizno's of pizza - Little Ceasers/Georgio's is the subway of pizza), and as you said East of Chicago are good.
