I wouldn't exactly say "Poor Gardy"...wasn't he the longest active tenured manager with a single team in all of MLB? It would be nice if he could leave on his own terms, but unless you're consistently making the playoffs (or at the very least finishing with an above .500 record), you're in constant danger of getting fired. It doesn't matter who it is...sports is a "what have you done for me lately" business.Poor Gardy.
