The Andre Drummond Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Somehow pointing out the very recent poor decision making of Andre Drummond is "old." Either we don't understand the meaning of "old," or we are again being very petty and abusing the rating system.

I have a newfound respect for Chuck Hayes...

Oh and Drummond is the modern Ricky Davis. Fills up stats sheet, very physically talented, basketball IQ of a @kumquat.

You're baiting me by taking a shot at me with that "cool kids are doing it" line. You bringing up that old argument (misunderstanding my point as well) is "old"

As opposed to taking this thread off track again I thought it'd just be better to use that rating and leave it alone.

Obligatory

Looks to me like Andre didn't really go after the ball. He instead slammed him in the face with his forearm. Then, does the "la dee da" down the court. Hope he got called for the obvious foul.

I'm not a Drummond fan but I didn't get too upset at the shoulder - not going to hurt him with something like that but let em know watch out next time. Maybe it's because I grew up watching 80's basketball but I wish one of the Cavs would throw a shoulder into some of these guys who waltz down the lane.

I think there might be a place for that if it is some sort of retaliation for dirty play; he really needed to be more sneaky about it. You look like a putz though by doing it right after you were dunked on.

17 & 22 tonight and he sat out the final 14 minutes because it was a blowout.

After a slow start his PER will be back up over 20.

Only 21 years old and is starting to flourish under Van Gundy.

Chris Grant, in whatever bridge you're dwelling under right now I hope you are proud of yourself.

Birdy's triumphant return!

He's owned the court the last two games. Completely owned the court DESPITE not being able to make FTs. He had a really slow start to the season but is now coming alive.

Grabbed 20 boards or more for the 4th time in 7 games tonight.

He's completely dominating now that Smith is gone.

His free throw shooting though has gone from horrendous to "hide the women and children" levels the past 2 games going 6-22.

He is making Shaq look like Rick Barry, and that is bad.

Pistons 4-0 without smith looked hopeless with him

They're literally the best team (NET ORtg - DRtg) in the league after the waiving of JSmoove. :chuckle: Sure they've played awful teams and us (awkward) but still.

20/17 against Duncan tonight.

Averaging 15.4 pts, 16.7 rebs, 2.2 blk and 1.7 steals a game for the past 9.

He will find himself in the All-star game if he keeps playing at anything resembling this rate.

Amazing turn around from how bad the season started out.

Drummond scorching folks now. Kid is a star.

Also, Pistons now 6-0 sans Smith.
