The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I must have missed all of those series where the Bulls went further than 5 games against a LeBron led team. Or when this wasn't the best team LeBron has ever played on.

Bring it Chicago, I can't wait to send Noah's irrelevant bitch ass packing.

The Bulls are nothing more than a minor annoyance. A fly that instead of just flying out of the propped open window insists on flying in front of your face until you inevitably swat it down. Hope Chicago makes it out of the first round just for the lolz of watching us dominate.

In summary: Fuck Chicago

Bulls fans are delusional. LeBron lead teams own them.

They're trying to justify the game with "Ooooh, would have won if not for those half court shots!"

IMO it's the equivalent of a saying "had we not given up that FG in the 1st quarter, we would have won by 1".

Time and score dictates a lot in any sport. If you erase those points, we play the game very different down the stretch. Just subtracting the shots and saying "we would have won if not for 'x' " is just a lazy argument that I'm not surprised Bulls' fans are making.
If the game wasn't 10 points with 6 minutes left LeBron never comes out in the fourth. That should be enough of an end all to show you can't just point at a second quarter shot as the difference, but I understand them gripping at straws. They have to know deep down they are going to get throttled if we see them.

Noah got embarrassed today, and now he's chirping based on what? Every playoff series he's lost to LeBron? Because they've never beat him in a seven-game series here or in Miami. I think they're a weaker team defensively with Rose (prove me wrong), and I know they're not outscoring the Cavs if the points go north of ninety.

Let Noah talk. And please let us play them in the second round. It'd be enjoyable to put them out in four, five tops.

Yeah, I mean we didn't even shoot it particularly well today. JR obviously got really hot but the Cavs were 42.2% from the floor, 59% from the line and the bench was damn near a zero. In the grand scheme of things, that was a really average game and yet, the Cavs sill beat them.

Agreed. And for everyone saying Pau or Butler had uncharacteristic games and the Bulls were still in it, it works both ways. Dunleavy put up 24/5/4 in 33 minutes shooting 67%.

A series against Chicago is very winnable, but it would be a grueling, physical slugfest with plenty of opportunities for injuries on both teams. Unless Derek Rose gets a time machine, it's really hard to see the Cavs losing. Still, I'd much rather face Toronto, and once apon a time, it seemed silly to think Orlando could beat the Cavs in a seven game series, so I'm a little more guarded than I used to be about the playoffs when facing a talented well coached team.

I'm sorry, but as a Bulls fan I'm confident after seeing this game. Cavs are still the favorites, but I give the Bulls a bit more of a shot after this. Still think the Cavs win at the end, but the Bulls have a shot at winning this. Rose's presence alone will help out so much more than 30 minutes of Aaron Brooks, who frankly is only good in spurts, before his obvious flaws show.

Regarding Lebron owning the Bulls in the playoffs, that is true, but when did the Bulls send out a formidable opponent out there against him? 2010 playoffs? We were the 8 seed, there was no way we were going to win. 2011? We lost in 5 as a contender, he kicked our ass, but we had the lead every 4th quarter I believe. Basically no one on that team had experience with deep playoff runs. 2013, we were missing Rose, so again huge underdog. So while he has beaten us a lot, it has only been one occasion where we sent a capable team up against him. This will be the 2nd time.

As for Noah, I agree with him, I want to play the Cavs too. Lebron has beat us enough. If we were to win a championship, it would be that much better to beat Lebron on the way. It would feel incomplete if we didn't.

So you're 'confident' after losing most of this game by double digits and losing 3 out of 4 this season, with the one win coming right before the all star break on a back to back for us.. you're confident after LeBron having a VERY poor shooting night, Love being mostly invisible, and Shumpert having his worst game in 3 weeks.

I realize you all also didn't play your best, but that's the point. Each team effected one another and caused some less than expected performances - and yet the Cavs were in total control for the vast majority of the game.

You and your douche canoe Noah can delude yourselves all you want, but it is us as Cavs fans that look forward to vanquishing demons against you guys. We look forward to making you all eat your words.

But hey, welcome to RCF.

I expected a 20+ blowout without Rose, so yes I'm more confident than I was before. Still view Cavs as decent favorites, but I give the Bulls a small chance. Anyways, we can't take really anything from any of these games this season. Game 1 no Butler for the Bulls + Rose out in the 3rd + you guys didn't complete the trade, game 2 the Bulls were still running that dumb iso offense which had them losing against anybody, game 3 no Butler or Love, and this game no Rose for us.

To Bulls fans hoping for it...be careful what you wish for. I have a feeling we will be seeing a different beast in LeBron come playoff time. Dude's been half-assing it on defense the past few months, but will occasionally turn it own (think vs Harden down the stretch in Houston). Not to mention I don't think there is a chance in hell a team in the first few rounds can beat us in Cleveland.

We wish for it because we want to beat Lebron, not because we think our chances are great. As I said earlier, no championship run is complete without beating Lebron on the way. Don't care for the easiest possible road.

Well, the Bulls have yet to do that, in fact I don't think they've yet to take a series with LeBron past 5 games...so remind me where all this confidence is coming from?

Just because you think your odds are improved(for me I gave us a 10% chance of winning, now maybe 20%) doesn't mean you're ultra confident. I want to play the Cavs to beat Lebron and I'll want to play him the next 100 series until we beat him. I'm glad the players want to also and why shouldn't they believe in themselves? A team that doesn't believe has already been defeated.

Bottom line, only chance the Bulls have is if Rose BADLY outplays Kyrie and breaks down our D.

Rose seems confident against us, moreso than other teams and he has enough size and strength to bother Kyrie. So it's POSSIBLE, but certainly not probable given Rose's injuries/inconsistency and overall play this year relative to Kyrie.

All things considered I'd rather play TOR but not scared of CHI, would put them away in 5 or 6.
