The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jarryd Bayless, of all people, getting into the paint at will. Wait til they have to stay in front of Irving and James.

If you're buying Bulls stock (like the entire TNT set evidently...) the fact that Milwaukee is giving them such a hard time should be alarming, not encouraging.

As I read some people comment on the depth of the Bulls along with the media perception that they have such a deep team, I have a hard time understanding why this is supposedly an advantage against the Cavs.

They mainly use Gibson, Mirotic, Brooks and Snell, compared to the Cavs playing TT, Shump, Delly and JJ. Now sure, in a vacuum if you played those 4 against each other the Bulls would likely win due to the offensive limitations of the Cavs bench guys. But with how each of the players are used in conjunction with the starters, the offensive limits of the Cavs bench is pretty much a non factor. The only real advantage is Brooks over Delly.

I wonder what the narrative would look like if the Cavs started Moz-TT-Lebron-Shump-Kyrie and had Love and JR coming off the bench. Then suddenly everyone would be raving about how deep the Cavs were and what a great bench they had and the match up problems it would cause other teams.

Obviously I am not advocating for this type of change, its just funny to me that the way a teams bench meshes with its starters is not a part of the conversation when discussing team depth.

you could hear the damn buzzer before the shot got off.

Bulls turning the ball over 26 times and are somehow still in this game ;) . Cavs in 7
Oh so they are going to completely cut the turnover game out when the pressure to score will be much, MUCH higher against an offensive powerhouse, but they will still shoot 51/61? Good to know.

Chicago doesn't have the pieces to beat the Cavaliers. The series will be 5 games.

Rose with 14 points and 8 turnovers. Bulls should have gone to Butler down the stretch.

Also germane to this discussion: Bayless and even MCW blew by Rose off the dribble at least 10 times in this. If the Bucks had made a few layups off of their steals or had gotten some foul calls on those layups, this would have been an easy double digits win.

Bucks could have easily won this series if they didnt trade away Knight. They play well when they can hit some 3's. Knight was their biggest threat from outside and instead the got a guy with no jumpshot

Unless Knight was an absolute pain in the ass in the locker room or something, I'll never understand that trade. MCW is basically a taller, lankier version of Eric Snow out there. Mucks up their whole offense.

JB is a real good player. He and rose are the guys we gotta watch

I imagine Butler will be their primary guy guarding Lebron. That's going to slow his offensive efficiency down a lot.

I also like that we can give Gasol a lot of different looks with Moz, TT, and probably even a little KLove and Perk. Windy made mention that the Schmucks were selling out to stop Gasol. I think the Cavs have the players to make life hard for him without needing to completely sell out. Gasol will get his points, but the Cavs bigs will have their effect as well.

Speaking of.
