Lol pretty spot on.

Yeah, because they had no clue they were going to become a FA before last week.

The poll at the top kind of looks like it's giving us all the finger. :chuckles:

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

LOL at anyone who pays for "inside" information. Have you heard of Twitter? Its FREE and most news breaks there.

If you want to know the internal workings of OSU first, Nevada Buck has a very strong track record to go by. If you don't care about getting information a day or two in advance, then yeah, don't pay, because eventually everything becomes public knowledge. I'm not part of the Buckeye forums, but I've seen enough to respect what they've got going on over there. I'd also bet many people around the country would pay $100+ to know what LBJ's decision is this very second, even knowing that the information would likely be public knowledge in the next 48 hours, so obviously some do value access to the inside track.

I tried to pay to get access to an insider site before... Didn't work out so well, but the money was still gladly accepted.

I see what you're saying, but at the same time, some of these guys legitimately don't know what they want to do. There's no obvious ideal situation for a lot of these guys.

Look at Melo: he can go to a weak NY team and "trust" that Phil is gonna make something happen, or he can go to LA and play with a proven star, who is aging and declining, with another "promise" that the roster will improve. Chicago is the best fit I believe, but his wife reportedly prefers LA. There's a lot at play here.

NB is a cock.

Anyway, it's happening!

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

Jesus Skip Bayless is such a moron. Saying the 2007 squad is better than today's.

Actually the 2007 Cavs lost by a total of 24 points over four games to the Spurs. Two of those games were very close. The 2014 Heat on the other hand lost Game 1 by 25 points -- one point worse in just one game. The 2014 Heat did win one game but the series overall seemed like more of a blowout than the 2007 series.

That's not what Skip meant, of course. Just making lemonade from lemons.

Q: Ira, after all the Heat have been through with Dwyane Wade, why add another guy who sits more than he plays? What next: Sign Derrick Rose and his crutches? -- Sid.

A: Look, I can appreciate the Josh McRoberts signing. He is a player with a unique skill set who should work well with Erik Spoelstra's systems. I get that. While I think they overpaid for McRoberts, big men who can pass and shoot are the exceptions. And he certainly has proven durable. But the Danny Granger thing almost comes off as desperate, something along the lines of adding a name more than a player (to a degree, it comes off similar to the Greg Oden signing last summer, as if the Heat added the player-formerly-known-as-Danny-Granger). Look, if it works, at that price point, it could be a home run. But the same could have been said about Oden, which never panned out. To be honest, I truly thought Granger would have to work his way back at the veteran minimum. It seems as though the Heat could have gotten more out of the $2 million bi-annual exception. I seriously doubt that if Pat Riley wasn't working with his back against the wall that he would have made such a move. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd have Granger on a higher tier than Michael Beasley at this stage.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

A certain high hit rate insider over on a certain buckeyes site has put his official stamp on the return, says it's come from multiple sources in the org and in the brands.

If you're talking about NevadaBuck, he also said that LeBron was going to re-sign with the Cavaliers in 2010 and we all know how that turned out. He's also been wrong on big name commitment predictions for the Buckeyes. So, take it with a grain of salt.

No one really knows what's going to happen until it is actually announced. I wouldn't completely rule out Bosh going to Houston and Carmelo ending up in either Miami or LA with LeBron.

Don't even mention LA with Melo and LBJ, because it ain't happening. They would need to waive Nash, and even then LBJ and Melo would only be able to take like 14-15 million per year...
