Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

The Lebron era provided a team that overachieved one season and disappointed and didn't advance as far as expected in other seasons. Lot of regular season success without achieving ultimate success.
Winning a bunch of regular season games is fun but at the end of the day I'm still left a little less than satisfied. For me that's probably the case a little more since I never felt as attached to those teams as some past Cavs teams. Looking back that might be due to the attitude and actions of Lebron along with some cockiness and immature behavior of those teams.

I've moved on for the most part. Stuff only comes up if members of the media write or say ignorant uninformed things or Lebron himself makes some dumb comment. I even ignore that stuff more now.

Re: Lebron James Tweet- re "HomeSweetHome"

No offense man, but it's stuff like this that makes a lot of the media say we can't move on from this douche.

1. My bro in law from NY follows him and told me.
2. This is not in Cavstalk, it is a guy on another team tweeting about an area I frequently drive through (and I imagine other ppl care about- If Dwade said something like this about Chicago you don't think people would still take notice?)
3. Do you really give a Flying F*** what the media says about Cleveland? Even when we were good they drove a dialogue of showing clips of all our heartbreaks.

I do find his mentality personally interesting. I have said numerous times I wish a psychiatrist wrote a book on him. Also I do enjoy the fact that he will never sell that place and he is probably funding the local football team based on the auditor's valuation.

Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

One question I have. Is there any team in the NBA that if Lebron was added to their roster would not make the playoffs?

Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

Eric Snow 2 finals with 2 different teams, 03 all defensive 2nd team
Larry Hughes 05 1stall defensive team
Z - 2 time all star
Varejao 2010 2nd team all defensive

the 07 team had 8 guys with a 12 or higher per whereas the squad the next year were lucky to have 5 grade that high.

the 07 team was good. they ahd talent. Marshall and Gooden were productive. The defense was stingy and they all were guys who allowed lebron to showcase his strengths

4-0 sweep ? the 2 home losses were decided by a total of 4 points.

Im not sure how one can call it a fluke or say james didnt have any talent around him because he did.

2008 they revamped almost the entire team. five players were acqured and 5 dealt. the team limped into the playoff s w closing the season 15-12. This was really a transition year for the team . the youth movement would start the next year.

What about the CAVS teams in his rookie year and sophmore year? No playoffs then. This is a team game and one great player helps but only if surrounded with right type of players to do all the dirty work/ defense / rebounding. The role player on a team can help win or lose a game just as the star can and the difference is only how often the chance is given. All the credit ends up going to the star even when the role player plays a big role in the teams sucess.

At his current state, I don't think there is one team, if added to, would not make the playoffs. His first couple of years he was new to the league. Now he thinks he runs the league. I hate the guy and I hate to say it but he is the kind of guy that makes a team a playoff team.

Making the playoffs is not a high bar (at least in the East) and in fact the Cavs just barely missed it his first two years.

Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

Because that team is awful and not one player compliments LeBron's style. Not to mention that team has a negative BB IQ.
They do suck, but it would be interesting to see what would happen.

Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

The Wizards

Even with being a poor fit, that team would make the playoffs. They have a bunch of boneheads, but between Wall, Blatche, and LeBron, they'd have enough firepower to win 45+ games which would comfortably get them in the playoffs.

That team would implode within 10 weeks. . .

Re: The guy who wears #6 in Miami

Bobcats.. Maggette and Bron on the same team.. nuff said. Those two would be shooting mid range bricks all game.. while all the other trash on that team just watches two teammates go at it.
