Watching him tonight, my friend? That's quite a start already.

This boy is OVEEER- RAAATED (clap clap...clap-clap-clap)

I love seeing the Steelers trying to pass Roeth off as a passing QB.

Not nearly as pathetic as the Browns trying to pass off Frye as an NFL QB.

See that pass bounce of Heinz Ward's shoulder pad???

Charlie has a little bit more breathing room then Ben does..

Ben has the better defense, offensive line, running game AND a better offensive cordinator... Something that Charlie can't say..

Ben has a ring...

He can breathe all he wants...

Before Jigo gets me labeled on this board as a "Pitt fan" or even a "Ben fan", let me clarify a few things. Jigo said Ben was a "bad quarterback"...I simply said he wasn't "bad"....overrated maybe. They were 27-4 and won a Super Bowl with him and 4-3 without him before this year. You simply can't achieve that type of success with a bad quarterback...no matter how good the rest of the team is. Ben didn't make mistakes and did what he needed to do to win, something Frye wouldn't understand.

With regards to this season, he is still almost 15 pounds under his playing weight from last year. When you are in a severe accident and drop weight you are losing mostly muscle. Not to mention he had an emergency appendectomy on September 3rd. These health problems have obviously had an impact on his play...he didn't suddenly just become "bad".

What did he do during that game?

He went 9/21, threw for 123 yds, had 0 TD's, and 2 INT's..

He didn't do anything during that game...

lets do a quick comparrison...
Browns QB - Charlie Frye
Steelers QB - Big Ben

Browns 2005 Successes - Getting in the top 10 for a draft pick
Steelers 2005 Successes - Winning the Super Bowl

I hate Pittsburgh and anything related to them..

I hate their uniforms, the name of their field (Heinz Ketchup) their slack jawed coach..god I hate them.

Let's take a look at their offensive lines:

Browns:

Kevin Shaffer
Joe Andruzzi
Hank Fraley
Cosey Coleman
Ryan Tucker

Steelers:

Marvel Smith
Alan Faneca
Jeff Hartings
Kendall Simmons
Max Starks

Okay, who has the advantage there?

Let's take a look at the Defense's:

DE: Brett Keisel
NT: Casey Hampton
DE: Aaron Smith
OLB: Joey Porter
ILB: Larry Foote
ILB: James Farrior
OLB: Clark Haggans
SS: Troy Palamalu
FS: Ryan Clark
CB: Ike Taylor
CB: DeShea Townsend

Browns:

DE: Orpheus Roye
NT: Ted Washington
DE: Alvin McKinley
LOLB: Willie McGinest
ILB: Andra Davis
ILB: D'Qwell Jackson
OLB: Kamerion Wimbley
SS: Sean Jones
FS: Brian Russell
CB: Daven Holley
CB: Ralph Brown

Now, you tell me who has the advantage in those 2 KEY categories...

I keep repeating myself, but it's like I am talking to a brick wall...

And did you just hear what John Madden said:

"Those Steeler teams won those games, not Ben Roethlesberger."

We have the best special teams in the league period...we just need the offense and defenses to get in sync.

Roethlisberger just came across this fellow..

ok, good job detective, but what you failed to realize, is that i dont give a hell about either of these teams, i am a patriots fan, and im not even going to begin to list the accomplishments done by my team in the past 3 years.

Well he got them there. Roethlisberger threw seven touchdown passes and only one interception over three road playoff wins to earn the Steelers a spot in the Super Bowl. Third highest QB rating in the NFL. That's not "bad"...far from it.

CHARGERS SCORE!!! Awesome catch by Floyd.
