The Trent Richardson Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The team winning doesn't make his performance any better.

And being better than Colt McCoy doesn't make him any less below average at the NFL level.

I want more people to adjust the scope of expectations, I don't want him to be better than Colt McCoy, I want him to not be among the worst QBs in football in terms of efficiency.

And if you take out his FIRST EVER GAME AS AN NFL QB his efficiency actually looks pretty damn good for a rookie. You adjust your scope of expectations. This is a rookie putting up pretty nice numbers with no help outside of his fellow rookie RB.

At this point you just want to make it look like you were right for not liking the pick. You weren't. He's looking great so far. 5 FUCKING GAMES, b00bie. You can't be serious with this crap. Boggles my mind.

Trent Richardson is looking great so far.

NO other rookie has looked great, by any means.

But losses are indicative of him being poor? That is a bit of a double standard, wouldn't you say?

I don't need to adjust my scope of expectations as I'm not expecting him to be Kurt Warner, but you're so far on the side of Weeden not being anything of substance that it reeks of an agenda/blind hatred. I mean the guy has had some poorly timed interceptions and an abysmal game in his first NFL action, but he's also had play on the other side of the balance that tell me you're not paying enough attention.

It is like you see the stuff you need in order to build your case and turn a blind eye to the other. It doesn't matter to me what you think of the guy, but I'm not going to let the forum drown in your redundant rhetoric.

No, they aren't indicative of him being poor. There are multiple reasons this team is losing.

Trent Richardson is not one of them, so keep it out of this thread.

RB is the easiest transition for any rookie

Debatable. In order to be a productive RB, you have to be on the field for a lot of plays. Thus blocking and blitz pick up is huge. Morris is helped out by having a mobile quarterback, and not needing to be the type of blocker most running backs are required to be.

Kicker or punter is the easiest transition for any rookie.

When I said no other rookies have been great, I was referring to the Browns.

Oh. I would say that Mitchell Schwartz has looked good, maybe not great but pretty good. We have only allowed 9 sacks so far which is tied for for 8th least in the NFL and quite a few of those are from Joe Thomas and Shawn Lauvlaou and we managed to do that all while going up against the some pretty good defensive lines which includes the Bengals who are tied for 1st place in the NFL with 18 sacks.

I had a hard time deciding where to put the article, Trent Richardson thread or Brandon Weeden thread. I should have put it in Weeden because I knew b00bie couldn't resist bashing Weeden and the conversation was clearly going that way.

Yeah, it's my fault people called me out for an article that gave Weeden a mediocre endorsement.

OK, this is the same argument being made in the Draft thread as well. Let's take them both to the Weeden thread, where ironically enough, there's the least amount of Weeden talk going on.

Not sure if this has been posted, drop it if it has please.

According to tweets from Mary Kay, Trent is day to day with a rib cartilage injury.

He better get better because the Colts can easily allow a career day for Trent. See Shonn Greene.
