I personally am firmly in the camp if I cannot, and will not ever root for a divisional rival to win a Super Bowl. And I surely can’t root for one to win a super bowl BEFORE we do.

I have friends who find themselves rooting for the Bengals for various reasons, they like Joe, they’re an Ohio team, underdog mentality, etc etc.

I can’t understand it, and never will. In my mind, watching the Bengals go to back to back Super Bowls is a possible ascension to Dynasty levels in the coming years. I can’t, and won’t entertain that idea in my head.

I can’t stand each of them in their own way.

Fuck the Bengals, fuck Joe Burrow. Fuck the Steelers and fuck the Ravens.

Thots?

Nah, don't think I could ever root for anyone else in our division to win.

I will say it's much more difficult to hate this Bengals team than ones they've had in the past. This Bengals team is actually likeable and it annoys me lol.

I mean, shit. They have a hometown hero Franchise QB leading them to places they've never been before. That's the kind of thing sports fans dream of.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm actually jealous of the goddamn Bengals right now.

The trick is to just remember the fan base is terrible and undeserving in my opinion. So damn fair weather. But yes…the team itself is indeed worthy of being very jealous of

Nope, I have a friends who are Ohio State alums and somehow are rooting for the Bengals because they claim Burrow as a buckeye. It makes me sick.

Go Chiefs, and go NFC.

The only way I am rooting for the Bengals is if they play the Steelers or Ravens. Outside of that I'm rooting for whoever the Bengals are playing

If the Steelers and Ravens are playing, I'm rooting for multiple catastrophic knee injuries.

I'm not rooting for the Bengals, but I hate the Bengals a lot less than I do the Steelers or Ravens for a few reasons

My first Browns memories are from when they returned in 1999 and the Bengals weren't a whole lot better than the Browns. They didn't really become good again until the early 2010s. They made the playoffs twice in the 12 year span of 1999-2010. Meanwhile, both the Steelers and Ravens made it 7 times each for a total of 3 Super Bowl wins (4 appearances).

Going off the above, the rivalry has been fairly even. These records may be slightly off but I see 20-27 vs the Bengals, 13-35 vs the Ravens, and 10-36 vs the Steelers. Easier to hate the two times that have kicked our teeth in for nearly 25 years straight.

This Bengals team doesn't really have the hateable (other than Eli Apple) scumbags that we saw from those early 2010s Bengals teams and pretty much all Steeler or Ravens teams

CIN went to two Super Bowls before Joe Burrow was even born.

Yes, and yet they're about to go to 2 in a row. Burrow already has more Playoff wins than any QB in their history. Soon he'll have more than all of them combined.

Loving seeing the Bengals and Burrow succeed. Likable franchise, likable player.

That is a team who’s success can be explained in part due to a fanbase with a history of holding each other accountable for the team’s performance.

Watch and learn.

Love this.

Bottom line — Bengals fans are ACCOUNTABLE.

Don’t believe us? Well you will need to download our NFL Fan Accountability app to see the throbbing hard data.

Too much time is spent focusing on negative comments from dated “journalists” covering the Browns. More time needs to be allocated to being better fans.

Until then — we will continue to toil in mediocrity and under utilize Nick Chubb.

The Burrow/Buckeye stuff is goofy...however, their defense (which frankly has been elite since the 2nd half of last season) is littered with Buckeyes which just makes them even easier for Ohioans to pull for.

I mean, we're all kidding ourselves if we wouldn't trade our team for theirs right now in a heartbeat.

Pretty soon a whole generation of Ohioans are going to grow up as Bengals fans solely because of this team. At this point it's not hard to envision a future in which they are the most popular team in the state.

Next season is going to be critical for the Browns in many ways.
