Tickets were going for less than $10 for the Ravens and Saints games. Source: me, a season ticket holder who couldn't make either game, couldn't sell them for $6 on the secondary market, and literally couldn't even give them away on here.

Nah.

I don't mind some of their players but the fanbase can eat shit. Too many, "at least we're not the Browns" responses and mockery from so many of their fans over the years. Everyone loves to punch down and now that they have a good team so many of them are pompous as hell. I hope the Chiefs annihilate them.

And that goes the same for our other divisional rivals.

Did CIN steal their Who Dey chant from The Saints or was it the other way around?

That's a pretty stark drop off when they were consistently Top 3 in attendance when LeBron was in Cleveland

2007- 3rd
2008- 3rd
2009- 5th
2010- 2nd

2011- 3rd *STHs still locked into their packages
2012- 19th
2013- 22nd
2014- 16th

2015- 2nd
2016- 2nd
2017- 2nd
2018- 2nd

2019- 8th *STHs still locked into their packages
2020- 17th
Drop-off course, but middle of the road attendance doesn’t equate to “not caring” like you said.

If people don’t care about the Cavs, what do you say about the guardians?!

Average attendance of ~2nd when they were championship contenders falls to an average attendance rank of 19th when they were shitty. Consistently ranked in the bottom 25% in capacity too. Sure they weren't in the gutter (likely would've been if they stayed shitty for an extended period of time or didn't have one of the biggest arenas in the league) but that's a steep drop off.

As far as the Guardians, I already said Cleveland barely supports their baseball team even when they are good. There have been plenty of opportunities for the fan base to jump on their bangwagon but it hasn't happened.

Never got the "cities only support the team when they're good" hate.

More power to those who watch when teams are absolute ass and poorly run, but there are other things to do and spend money on and it's hard watching a bad product.

When we start playing well, it pushes my other interests aside.

Hmmm, yeah — this is non-compliance right here.

You will watch the product regardless of quality.

You will allocate 10% of your earnings on Browns merchandise.

You will be compliant.

Please take this guy on the “haunted vacant lots” tour next time he’s in town, so he gets the drift.

We’re not playing around this season.

FYI — Cornelius in Marketing approved the “non-compliance” stamp for posts meeting such criteria.

Policy and Procedure will be update by EOD, Friday.

This. Exactly this. I am time poor and it would be disrespectful to my wife and a disservice to my kids to watch a middling Stains team give up 175 rushing yards instead of something more productive.

If the Browns are in meaningful games, I will be happy to disrespect my wife and disservice my children and deal w the consequences. I will spend my spouse points and go into marriage debt if we are in a playoff game.

I have some Bengal fan friends so I root for them. I look at it like “the Browns beat the SB champion this year” so we aren’t that far away, Losololololol216. But my buddy put 5 Houdini on the Eagles at +2175 before the season. He has hedged $3k even money on the AFC but still. I would love to see him cash that ticket so rooting for the Eagles over Cinci.

I like Burrow too. Ideally Lame Jackasson leaves and we actually, ya know, stop consistently disappointing our fans, and both Ohio teams make it. We better get consistently good bc Cinci isn’t going anywhere, even when Burrow’s salary goes up, for the next decade.
