The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How good is Fallout 4? I don't think I've ever played a Fallout before. Seems like many people like it on here.

Not sure if anyone plays Heroes of the Storm, but if you haven't and wanted to try it (it's really, completely awesomely fun), they are doing a recruitment bonus thing this month.

Use this link https://battle.net/recruit/8RBBXRCSXD and it helps us both. If 4 people join and get to level 10 (not hard), I get an in game bonus, and you get 2 heroes for free (that usually cost money or in-game gold).

So give it a try and let's help each other out.

People over on Reddit are getting super hyped over The Division after playing the alpha. Anybody here play it at all? I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced at E3 two(?) years ago.

Anyone get the new Battlefront? Picked it up the other day. Looks pretty but already think I'm going to return it, not a whole lot to do other than multiplayer which gets old.

Solid game. I enjoy online because I have a few buddies that have it. The various modes are pretty fun, but its nothing spectacular. Just ok.

I haven't got it yet. Hopefully I'll have it by Xmas. Whether people like it or not, I think most of the best parts of the game will be in the season pass.

I got Battlefront 1 and 2 with me right now, but I don't like to play those by myself. I played a little bit of Bounty Hunter yesterday and it was kind of fun. Just inverted camera controls that you can't change are annoying.

Just curious, but did you not look to see that it was lacking a single player campaign before you bought it?

No, I knew. Was going to buy it regardless considering how good the previous 2 were. Thought the multiplayer would be better than it is. Haven't bought COD in 3-4 years but the great thing about that was you were constantly working to get a new perk, new attachment on your gun, etc. Most of the ones on Battlefront are character appearance based, which I could not care less about.

So is anyone on here with a xboxone going to punch some dinosaurs?

I still haven't touched the Witcher. I have XMas eve - 1/3/15 off so I anticipate I'll be playing some of it then.

I'd really like to 100% Watch Dogs first. IIRC I'm around 60% currently.

Only $35? I'll get it on payday. Been waiting for it.

That price was one of the big things for me too...

You can also play it before your next payday. They give you one of the free trials for it which is 8-10 hours and you keep everything you've done in the trial after the full game purchase iirc.

Also just downloaded Thief and Operation Flashpoint with Games with Gold

I got Battlefront. Spoiler alert, I'm a beast. Took me a couple of games to figure it out, but by game 3 I was #1 on the team. Then I went on about a 15 game win streak on drop zone. Led the team most games. I'm loving it, I can't believe so many people don't like it.

I figured I would be good considering I'm a Battlefield guy (although I haven't played much Bf4 and never played Hardline). And I played the Battlefronts a lot as a kid. Can't wait until I actually get some better guns and other upgrades like a jetpack. Watch out then.

I played some fighter squadron or whatever the air battle one is called. I did a lot better than I expected because I was terrible with aircraft in the Battlefields. Never used aircraft because of it. Controls are much easier though. I was obsessed with trying to take down the Millenium Falcon and couldn't do it. I did a lot of damage but gosh dang that thing is like impossible to take down. What can expect from one tie fighter though?

Finally decided to buy Elite Dangerous now that the Horizons expansion is out. Made no sense to buy it a month or two ago and then pay another forty-five bucks for the new expansion when the base game is included in it for sixty. I've only played it for about an hour, and that was just the training stuff. The game is complicated as hell, and I really want to get a joystick for it at some point in the near future because I think it will make it much more fun and involving.

Visually the game is fantastic. Flying into a space station is an exhilarating experience, especially since one wrong move can splatter you against the side and kill you instantly. I haven't started the actual game yet, so I have yet to try landing on a planet, but that's now possible with the Horizons update, and it's all real-time, which is impressive as hell. I'm still undecided on how I want to play the game. Smuggler and mercenary both sound like appealing options, but I guess I'll let the game come to me as I play it. I'll post more impressions later.
