This team has disgraced CLEVELAND tonight

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For everyone who trashed the fans tonight, let me just tell you how wrong you are. TNT, as they always do, had the arena noise lowered so you could hear the broadcast better. I was at the game and the fans were great. I started to lose my voice after the first quarter. There was a guy in a #6 jersey near us, and he got so much shit from the crowd he ended up taking it off and chucking it 5-6 rows in front of him. I saw at least 2 fights happen, I'm sure I missed some somewhere. The crowd was loud and really into the game. I was actually impressed with how long the crowd kept it up. It's hard to stay intense when the team you're rooting for is glad handing the enemy and playing like a middle school girl's team. The ball they played tonight was atrocious. No defense, and the offense was worse. Ugly ugly game, the fans were not the problem tonight.

do people usually trash talk while smiling and laughing while down by 28? Shut up and get off your high horse. If you really think Boobie- or any Cavs- played well, you don't deserve to discuss basketball on this message board

Seriously, if people think that was trash talk they need a lesson in trash talk.

When I play a serious game of basketball with guys I have been best friends with my entire life, we do not look as happy with eachother as Gibson looked with LBJ AND THATS WHEN THE GAME IS CLOSE!!My god, if my team is getting beat by 30 there is no chance I'm joking it up with my friends on the court. I'm pissed off.

No kidding. If I go play pickup, and I end up on different teams than one of my friends, no way in hell am I joking the whole game. I want to win even more than if I was playing someone I didn't like. If I lose, I'm pissed.... and that's just a pickup game that means NOTHING. These guys are getting PAID MILLIONS to play this game, and they're joking around with an opposing player who's making them look like fools? What the hell is that? Its disgusting, that's what it is.

Cavs fans shouldn't be upset about losing; Miami is better. But to lay down, and let LeBron goof on you while he torches you? Pathetic.

Sam Amick's blog:
11:15 E.T., Quicken Loans Arena - It got ugly. In every way.

A battery was, in fact, thrown, falling near the Heat bench late in the game and thankfully not doing any damage. The same couldn't be said for man who was carried out by three policemen, his drunken misbehavior leading to an attempted arrest gone wrong. While the lawsuit that is sure to ensue will surely have all the details, the unmistakable image from inside the arena press room as he was dragged off was the blood dripping off his beaten face. Witnesses said it was done by the law enforcement officials after he put up the dumbest of fights.

There was in-house hostility, too. Heat guard Eddie House wasn't willing to forgive Cavs guard Boobie Gibson for the events that led to double technical fouls in the late fourth quarter, and that standoff nearly segued into the worst of postgame scenes. House, who could be heard saying "When that (expletive) turns the corner I'm putting my hands on him," sat in the hallway near the Heat locker room having to be talked out of attacking Gibson. Carlos Arroyo, Jamaal Magloire and a number of security staff helped avert this conflict.

For his part, James kept his cool throughout, enduring relentless heckling near the end from those who remained in the half-full arena. The Cavs, meanwhile, are left more conflicted than ever. As sporting comparisons go, this was nothing short of torturous for the home team. Heat 118, Cavaliers 90. James 38 points; Cavs starting five, 28 points. The LeReturn, without question, went to LeBron.

Just a few things that I came across, found interesting and hadn't seen posted yet. I also read somewhere else that LBJ was giving JJ a hard time about his development when he was by the Cavs bench.

I'm not even going to read the rest of this thread. I read the first two post and that was all I needed.

This team is a complete joke. Its giving James every reason to smile right now. How do we get blown out on national TV in the biggest game of our season? They took Mo Williams out of the game, our biggest offensive threat.. I understand that.. But not any other member of this team stood up and took on the challenge and took this game by the balls.

The Heat had easy baskets most of the night, including so many second chances, which killed us totally. This team didn't hustle, they didn't show fire, nothing.. I just don't understand how these guys should show nothing in this game..

Glad to see the fans show class and do shit but just "boo" James the whole night too.. Yeah, that really showed him. Whoever had tickets should had given them to their grandmothers, because they would have done a better job dealing with LeBron than themselves.

EDIT: Had about 4 or so four lokos and 5 shots of vodka.. But still.. Fuck LeBron.

Disgusting.

What happened between Boobie and House? I was walking out of the Q at that point. Couldn't take watching more of the embarrassment.

I really want to know what got House so riled up. Remember when Haslem referred to Pierce as a "Studio Gangster"? If anyone fits that description, it's House.

In what span of time? Body weight?

House was pretty butt hurt when they got the double technical... I am guessing that Boobie said something he didn't like.

probably that house will never replace him as lebron's "little bro"/bff/butt buddy

tonight was so shameful. i want all of them traded

2 hours and a half. I ate some food after I had 2 lokos.

I drink lokos a lot, I bought about two cases of them when they were getting banned. I usually drink 3 every Friday and then pass out after, so four isn't that big of a deal.

However, I played the Call of Duty drinking game(which I know not many do, considering not many have no lives who play this game and hide all day in their mom's basement and eat cereal all day in their boxers), which makes me drink every time I die, and when I die double digits after games I take a shot.

For me to believe that? I'd say roughly 450 pounds.
I'm 6'0, 182 pounds.. Not my fault you're a pussy and can't handle much alcohol.

Eddie House, what did the 5 fingers say to the face?

Pretty funny hearing him talk about bush league antics, but he wants to attack somebody because of what has been said??

Just because LeBron James kept his cool, went out and performed like business as usual, it doesn't mean no one on the Heat got testy during their match in a boo-drenched game with the Cavaliers Thursday night. Eddie House and Boobie Gibson received double technicals for a fourth quarter altercation, one which was so intense, House was threatening to go after Gibson post-game, back in the locker room area. From NBA FanHouse:

House has never been a particularly well-tempered guy and has always been known for his bravado. It's just interesting that on a team with such huge egos, that House is the one stirring things up. Thank Goodness nothing erupted between the two. This story doesn't need any more bad blood added. It's nuts enough on its own.
