This team has disgraced CLEVELAND tonight

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There is a difference in not being good and not trying to be good.

I'd rearrange the deck chairs for players who WANT to play hard and tough rather than the soft as baby shit players we have now.

Danny Ferry really built a soft team.

5 star post

Ho w about banning this guy....he has done nothing but insult the fans of the Cavaliers since his boy left.

We are having a nice chat in PMs. Don't worry your pretty little heads. There will be no more bashing of the fans tonight. That crap is low-class.

Agreed. With you and JS. I was just responding to the idea that the front office didn't know what kind of talent it had. I think they did. What they saw tonight was the mental side...and did any of that really surprise them? I doubt it. Was Chris Grant shocked that Boobie was yakking it up with Lebron? I doubt it.

Can we cut the "Danny Ferry built this team" montage?

This isn't the team Danny Ferry built. The team Danny Ferry built won 60 games and would have obliterated the Lakers in the finals if LeBron James wouldn't have quit on the team. The team Danny Ferry built would lay waste to the pretenders that now reside in Miami and call themselves the "Three Kings". This is not the team Ferry built.

Soft. This team is incredibly soft.

Shaq was the only player last year who wasn't soft. Now, we have nothing. We are the softest team in the NBA.

Last years team was soft too. it's why we didn't win a championship. You can play the "well if we got there" card all day, but the fact of the matter is that the Celtics came to town, punched us in the face, and we cowered in fear. We were the big bully who gets beat up and goes away forever.

This team is so mentally and physically soft...I cannot stand it. I don't know if I can watch this current team anymore.

At least Smush Parker played hard....

I would now like to restart my idea of trading our best players to possible contenders other than the Heat for the sole purpose of making sure they don't win a title now or in the future.

For instance, let's send Varejao to the Hawks so they can finally move Horford and Smith to their real positions. Let's send Mo to the Lakers. Let's send Jamison to the Bulls..they need outside shooting in whatever form it shows up in. That's right, screw our own franchise so long as we screw the Heat!!WHOS WITH ME!!

Delonte West wasn't soft. He might have actually got thrown out of the game tonight with this nonsense going on.

I don't care how "tough" a team is, it's all talking head bullshit in reality. You can throw around the generic word "soft" all you want, and maybe that's what LeBron was for quitting on us. We lost the series last year because our best player, the player we built our entire team around, stopped trying. Maybe LeBron himself was soft, which is unfortunate because that's the last word I would have used to describe him even as recently as last week.

I'm not buying the "soft" argument in this case. Sorry. Disagree totally.

Listening to Scott's post game presser was almost as nauseating as watching the massacre tonight. How many times did he mention this being a "young team" and stating that many of the guys hadn't been in a game of this magnitude before? WTF? Did he follow the NBA at all the last couple years? Yikes.

What do you mean you don't "buy" that?

Did you watch the team tonight?

Did you hear them in the build up to the game?

This team is softer than baby shit. Soft, soft, soft. Didn't even TRY to give LeBron a hard foul. They played like a bunch of scared, ex girlfriend's who just saw their ex boyfriend's hot ass new girlfriend.

Fuck this team and everyone on it. Mentally soft, physically soft. We will never win anything with the core of Mo, Andy, Hickson and whoever else.

Lol, did he really say that? Yo, Byron, most of the guys have been deep into the playoffs.

"Young team" is hilarious.

As if the pieces for this team to contend are already on it and they just need to "grow" or something. LMFAO. JJ Hickson and Boobie Gibson.. those are your best "young" players.

GTFO.

Gotta agree that we are soft and were soft last year too besides West, Andy, Shaq. Adding Charmin Jamison has been an absolute disaster. I can't stand watching him play.

I'm not talking about the team on the floor tonight. Though, instead of soft I prefer to use the term " roster full of menstruating females" :chuckles:.

I'm just saying it's not the team Ferry assembled and being "soft" wasn't the reason we lost against the Celtics last year unless you want to spin it to say that LeBron quitting made him "soft" which I disagree with at least in that specific context. As a team last year with the pieces we had and the way they played together in the system they played in, I would never label them as "soft".

A year ago I would have laughed at you if you told me I was going to say this but the Cavs need to take a lesson from the Browns. You didn't see them kissing Braylon Edwards' a$$, they went after him. They also played inspired football to a team that has more talent vs. Braylon's team. I've seen enough NBA to know that on a back to back with the crowd behind them, the Cavs have more than enough talent to compete if not beat the cHeat. What a major disappointment. It's going to be hard to get behind these guys. I feel sorry for the people who are locked into season tickets for the rest of the year.

You buy into that Nike/ESPN driven "legacy" bullshit?!? Seriously? Lebron could only be so lucky to have his career mirror Pippen's. You want to WIN period. That's what all the players are there for. The dumbass kiddies talk about that #1 option, #2 option bullshit like it matters. Without Scottie Pippen who the fuck is Michael Jordan? He's a guy putting up video game numbers and LOSING every year...just like Lebron has been doing his whole career. Empty stats and no rings would be a MASSIVE disappointment.

And without Jordan, Pippen doesn't become a Hall of Famer. Scottie has said as much himself. Jordan was ALREADY one of the top-5 players in the league when Scottie showed up. It was his drive and work ethic that made Scottie become a great player. It goes both ways.
