Trade Deadline ––> Waiver/Buyout Deadline 2015 (March 1)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
OKC and Miami the big winners.

OMO, this DOES change the landscape with OKC picking up Kanter, DJ, and even 3 point shooter Novak to bolster that team.

Not liking this trade deadline...some of our possible playoff opponents got markedly better. A little scared of Miami now if Wade is healthy.

All about timing. Lets say the Heat traded for Dragic a month ago. And we added Moz, JR, and Shump today.

We'd feel a lot better.

Still think we have more firepower when it will really count.

Not happy with Dragic going to Miami. That's an impressive team going forward if they remain healthy.

Dragic
Wade
Deng
Bosh
Whiteside

Very balanced and well constructed team. Almost every player fits the classic mold for their position -- Whiteside is a real center with size and athleticism, Bosh is a true PF, Deng a true SF, Wade a classic SG when healthy, and Dragic a real distributor.

Do not want to face them in the playoffs.

Who got the better deal?

Miami: Danny Granger, Norris Cole, Shawne Williams, Justin Hamilton and two first-round picks for Goran and Zorgan Dragic

Or

Cleveland: Two first rounders (one from Dion), Lou Amundson, Alex Kirk for Timofey Mosgov, Iman Shumpert, and JR Smith

For us that trade was really Dion, a first rounder, and garbage for Mozgov, Shumpert, and JR Smith. If those three keep playing like they are it is trade of the year.

this trade deadline had a Dragic ending...

Not scared in the slightest

Reality is the Cavs made their trade deadline trades ..but I'll be curious if they go after Perkins.

Miami improved, but not significantly IMO. Bucks got better for the future. Detroit is Detroit (sadly).

I can never take OKC serious for the following reasons:

1) Trading James Harden for crap.
2) Numerous bad picks (Boubois, Pondexter, Brackins, Jones) trading Bledsoe.
3) Westbrook & Durant do not fit together. I dont care how good both are. They should have traded Westbrook for CP3 when they had the chance.
4) Westbrook insists on shooting
5) Ibaka takes 12-15 footers...you are stronger than anyone...stay in the damn paint.
6) Scott Brooks is a terrible coach. He is the white Mike Brown.

Not sure why anyone would want Perkins. It seems like just yesterday people were making fun of him when we played the Thunder.
