Trade Deadline 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Chubb and Hunt are such a good 1-2 punch. I feel like we struggled last season more when Hunt was out than when Chubb was out. I don't think DEJ proves that 1-2 punch, he was just more of a backup replacement for Chubb.

I saw an article saying they might move Conklin. I think would be a huge mistake. The O-line seems solid now and we shouldn't go looking for a RT after spending all that capital on Watson. The O-line is protecting that high cost investment. I'm not sure what half a season of Conklin is worth on the trade market but I doubt it will get us a replacement in the draft and I would rather have the potential to resign Conklin in the offseason if a cheaper viable option isn't available.

It’s Hunt’s last year on his deal and it doesn’t seem particularly likely he will re-sign so the question is basically what do you think our playoff odds are this year and are they high enough that you value Hunt’s contributions more than whatever comp we can get

I disagree. If Conklin is even remotely healthy, you move on before he breaks down again. From what I've read, this will also line us up for a comp pick.

The hardest thing about moving on from Hunt is what he did in that Steelers playoff game. Those two TDs will replay in my mind as long as there's nothing to replace those memories, which might a while yet. Obviously, I believe we can safely trade him this year.

I think coming into the year Hunt was already the 15th highest paid RB in the league and wanted more money. Denver needs another RB. I’d try to send him there for Jeudy (if possible) or a piece on the line. Just no point in keeping Hunt around.

Time to punt this season. Team sucks and needs to fill a lot of holes on defense.

Can’t really punt it yet. I think it’s entirely possible 10 wins will get you the division this year. Pull one out against Cinci and we’re suddenly 2-1 in the division. I don’t think it’s likely, but I don’t think you can throw the season away when you don’t have a 1st and no one’s running away with the division.

We will lose to Cinci.

In no world do I want to bring Jerry Jeudy onto this roster.

We have enough guys with nothing between the ears as is.

Ravens should pay up a 3rd for Kareem and go all in over there. Their RBs are literally always hurt. Hunt brings stability and at least 3 good years left.
