Trayvon Martin 911 Call From Neighbors and Zimmerman (Audio)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
law aside, bringing a gun to a fist fight is a fucking bitch move.

What a bitch. Trayvon was like 150 pounds. And this guy wanted to be a cop?

Typical wanna be cop loser.

If you have a concealed carry license, you don't exactly walk around the neighborhood brandishing your firearm. I'd be willing to bet he didn't want to pull it out and walk around with it because he didn't now if Trayvon had a gun or not, and you're trained to only use it as a last resort. I think Zimmerman was wrong, but I also think he acted in self defense....

He probably continued to follow the kid, after the dispatcher told him now to, because a suspicious person call isn't exactly high priority on the list of calls for police officers. Sad situation all around.

the problem was he took self defense to another level when he killed the kid. had the kid attacked him, and then zimmerman punched the kid both end up in court and we never hear about this. the problem is even if the kid did punch/attack/surprise zimmerman, zimmerman still killed the kid, when the kid had no real way of putting zimmermans life in danger.

I don't think this should be a self defense case for Zimmerman. What did he expect when he got out of his car to confront the kid? The cops were on the way, was he going to detain him? He has no right to do that. He played cop, got his ass kicked and killed this kid. If Trayvon went up to his car to beat his ass then it is self defense.

First, this is not true. He could have been beaten to death.

Second, it doesn't even have to be life threatening. "Serious bodily harm" is also grounds for using a weapon to protect yourself. Do you want to disagree that the kid couldn't cause serious bodily harm by being on top of him kicking the shit out of him?

Things starting to get a little out of hand I see...

I dont mean just 'bring' one to a fight.. I'm pro firearm and will probably get one soon, but that is not the scenario to use that in. You get in a fight, you fight, you don't use that bullshit as an equalizer. You either lose or win. You dont shoot someone in a fist fight.

it takes a hell of a lot to kill someone totally unarmed and untrained, especially when the person attacking you is 15 and you are a grown man. its going to take one hell of a good defense attorney to pull off that argument that this was self defense.

Not on Zimmerman's side whatsoever but still liked this picture:

i dont even think it's that hard... look how easily public opinion was reversed. We've got witnesses to his defense. Casey anthony and oj get off, smart money is on him getting off.

He was 17 and played football. That doesn't mean he wasn't a small guy, but a lot of the pictures shown of him are years old. And, by most of the stuff I've read on the case, the kid was able to get on top of Zimmerman and was punching his face. Does it matter the size much if the kid was able to do that? Is that not enough to say that the kid wasn't able to cause serious bodily harm to Zimmerman?

Get off of.... what, exactly? Murder? He hasn't even been arrested, let alone indicted, let alone convicted.
