Trayvon Martin 911 Call From Neighbors and Zimmerman (Audio)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The trajectory of the bullet is gonna be huge in this case. Was it fired from close range(wrestling) or did trayvon stop whooping his ass and get up(and then get shot). Self defense is probably out the window if the latter happens. Could Zimmerman have said he was armed or fired a shot into the air? Or was trayvon going ape shit on that pussy?

He has 4 years of Criminal Justice under his belt and wanted to be a cop(and the NW Captain for what its worth). Did he tell trayvon he was armed? Isn't that the point of carry/conceal?

" I'm armed and the police are on their way" Thats what the fuck i woulda said.

Oh and im unsure on whether it was a 911 operator or a uniformed police officer that Zimmerman was speaking too. Can anyone clarify that for me?

So now two witnesses are saying Zimmerman was on top of Martin straddling him and putting his hands behind his back... While he was still alive after he shot hm.

Here's the latest from Zimmerman's side.

Basically the article says Trayvon snuck up behind Zimmerman and started the physical confrontation.

Here's the weird irony: if Zimmerman's account is to be believed, then wouldn't Trayvon be the one protected by the Stand Your Ground law? Trayvon was being followed by a man with a gun. Under this narrative, Trayvon stood his ground and got shot for doing so.

So I've now seen multiple stories that mention witnesses who saw things exactly that were in direct opposition to one another. Some see Zimmerman on top of Martin, others see Martin beating Zimmerman to a pulp. This is why people shouldn't so quickly rush to judgment against Zimmerman, because the facts are never certain so early.

Still reason to be upset with the Police Dept., though.

Haven't read the actual statute, but I'm guessing that would be a fun (legally speaking) interplay between that statute and general self-defense. If Trayvon was standing his ground legally, but yet Zimmerman was also legally defending himself (meaning he isn't viewed as a provocateur) then that would be interesting to see how that turns out.

Here's a snippet of his Myspace page. (allegedly)

Ok so I've done a complete 180 on this due to the media making this out to be something it's not.

What we know: Zimmerman is the one screaming for help on the tape. A witness saw Trayvon on top of Zimmerman and Zimmerman looked at the witness screaming for help. By the sounds of it, he wasn't having a very good time.

Most gated communities have neighborhood watch, volunteered or not. Zimmerman has the right to follow and question a suspicious person. We know all he did was question Trayvon because the girl who was on the phone with Trayvon even said Zimmerman asked Trayvon, "What are you doing here?". That is not an aggressive act under Florida law. According to Zimmerman he was walking back to his truck when Trayvon attacked him and beat him up giving him a broken nose and bloodied up. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise. That's why the police department did not arrest Zimmerman. They did hold and question him though.

I don't like guys like overzealous guys like Zimmerman but this is just an unfortunate case and it's crazy how the media is making this out to be something it's not.

This is total crap. A grown man chased down a kid, got into an altercation and shot the kid. It doesn't matter who was winning the fist fight. Zimmerman was the instigator. And no, Zimmerman does not have the right to follow and question someone "suspicious" -- and by "suspicious" you mean, dressing like Justin Bieber.

If you're going to be someone's Huckleberry at the OK Corral then you better make sure the other guy is packing. Otherwise it's homicide. Pretty simple.

Zimmerman is allowed to shadow (not the same as stalking) anyone who he deems suspicious and ask a question. Point blank.

There had been a string of robberies in the neighborhood and he made it his duty to report any suspicious activity. Remember, this is a gated community. Gated communities are around to keep people out. Simple as that.

Zimmerman wasn't expecting to fight, he legitimately wanted to know why Trayvon was walking around and that's not against the law. Trayvon decked him, got on top of Zimmerman and continued to beat him instead of walking away or waiting for the cops. Unfortunately for him, Zimmerman was carrying a concealed weapon he had a permit for.

If you stopped a random man on the street and demaded to know what he was doing, what do you think the reaction would be? Or if a strager suddenly appeard in front of you and demanded to know why you were wakling on that street, what would your response be? Most people's response would be to either run or fight. Trayvon had already tried to run.

Zimmerman went so far beyond reasonable action. Defending what he did defies any rational judgment.

Sorry but you're the one being irrational. You can't go around hitting people when someone asks you what you're doing. There's other ways of handling the situation. Point blank.

I'm not defending Zimmerman, I'm defending truth with evidence.

Bullshit. I am pissed at Zimmerman because he was an armed moron that was playing cop and a kid lost his life for it.

Here are the facts that piss me off beyond belief.

1. Zimmerman is not a cop nor an agent of the law.
2. Zimmerman was armed with a loaded gun.
3. Zimmerman followed a kid even after was was told by law enforcement not to follow the kid.
4. The kid was not committing a felony nor was anyone in immediate danger thus Zimmerman had no business following the kid and was protecting no one from bodily harm

I really dont care who started the physical nature of the fight. I dont care what was said. i dont even really care when the kid was shot. If not for the utter stupidity of this complete asshole, this kid would still be alive.

Period. Cant deny that. Zimmerman's unlawful actions led to this kids death. How unlawful is the only point up for debate.

regardless of right and wrong, zimmerman's gonna get off scott free. Oj and Casey Anthony had mountains of evidence and logic workign against them and they got off. Public opinion has already swayed to a ridiculous extent and public opinion is always late to the party.

No, its not within his rights. A neighborhood watch has no more rights than any other normal citizen. What Zimmerman did was call harassment. If he was just questioning him, why did he have a concealed weapon. It was a bad decision on Zimmerman's part. When your bad decisions lead to someone's innocent death its called manslaughter. If his intent was to kill or if Zimmerman was commuting a felony, then its murder.

Zimmerman was not an agent of the law, he had no right to follow and question another civilian. Only time he has a right is if the other civilian is in the act of committing a felony or if someone else is being harmed. Neither was happening. Trayvon was just walking on the sidewalk. Not illegal, even if its not his neighborhood.

It continues to amaze me... that whenever something like this happens... the first people to come out are what I call the "Racism Crows". People who crow over and over again that something someone did was clearly racist, and not grounded in self defense or anything like that. Then there are the people who, just like the Kony nonsense, decide to sign petitions and donate money and shit when they don't know all the facts on the ground. Once the facts are on the ground, then sure, post your status updates, sign petitions, etc, but until that point, there is no need for racism talk, and there is no need for crowing.
