Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Biyombo would be great. Pretty sure he recently got good reviews while playing in the energy big role that we would ask of him.

As long as he knows how to pass a drug test.

Really he only needs to not fail a drug test in the next 25 games.

Can we get rid of Tristan now to free up that roster spot?

Just not going to defend the guy. He took them, he got caught. He played this year like he found the fountain of youth, so no one is surprised. The league isnt coming down extra hard on Tristan, they are just following the rules. Such is life, if not for the PEDS though, he probably doesnt beat out Damian Jones, so for that, I am grateful.
What showed most was not the energy, at least to me, but his basketball IQ. He was playing great because he's a vet and knows how to play. His experience more than anything was what contributed to his stellar play.

Why? We have 2 open roster spots and TT will be back 2 months before the end of the season.

Isn't it a 25 game ban? Who knows what conditioning he's going to be in without his PEDs and why waste time on a player who does that anyway? Can find a player who is as impactful for 5-10 minutes a game.

I'd take Biyambo, Noel or Dedmond as a backup. Dedmond is the most intriguing to me. And if we really want to go undersized, Harrell... Tristan did well because we don't have a paint banger who goes for offensive boards but there are guys available who do the same thing but aren't using PEDs to stay relevant. Or at least not getting caught :chuckle:
