Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Even in with a Marc Gasol/Brook Lopez-like ideal fit beside TT (spacing, while also playing defense), it's not like TT is the best fit for them. A great PF like Bosh or Dirk would be an even better fit beside Marc Gasol.

Right now TT looks like his best fit will be 3rd big on a contender. Which is fine, Taj Gibson and Nick Collison helps the Bulls/Thunder win. But they'll need far more to move the needle.

Again, TT should just let his jump shot fly. He is very tentative. I have not seen him shot that shot with confidence ever since the first two games of the season. With his tentativeness even his money flip shot is already abandoned. That is his primary/unstoppable weapon last year.

Last 3 games:

1 for 6
1 for 6
1 for 8

Perhaps Tristan should consider switching his shooting hand again.

I hope he hasn't destroyed any trade value he might have had. Someone as unskilled as he is has to play with the energy Anderson does or he is about worthless.

Tristan isn't as bad as he is playing right now. All thoughout the summer, preseason, and the first couple games of the regular season he looked fantastic. Then, the "Mike Brown effect" took hold of him and the rest of the team, and completely reversed that progress.

I would also blame MB for TT's atrociousness. My God, this dude has no confidence. Night and day difference when Scott was here and even when he was playing for Canada in the last FIBA Americas.

The Bynum experiment is destroying Thompson, he currently has no role on offense and is often forced to guard the perimeter as Bynum stays under the basket on D.

For all the bitching about Dion and Kyrie at least they can put up points. We don't have a big man whose a threat to score 20 points on a night to night basis. This is a much bigger concern then our backcourt IMO.

Tristan will goto the bench next the n kyrie .

so we will have Jack,Miles,Gee,Clark and Bynum starting.

Not gonna defend his poor play. It's not good the last three games.

But again, just like the Heat game, literally every player who is put on the floor with Bynum looks like ass. As soon as Bynum comes out, AS SOON AS HE COMES OUT, Irving suddenly looks more alive. The ball moves better. Bynum is killing Tristan right now. And Irving. And whatever poor soul gets to play the 2. I'd say he's killing Gee, but Gee didn't need help in that department.

But it really isn't Bynum killing them. It's Brown, forcing Bynum onto them, and then forcing them to run the offense through him. Blame Brown.

Any traditional type of center will kill Tristan. Not defending Bynum, he looks terrible, but the kind of C you need to make Tristan look good is rare. It is why a lot of people were wary of the Tristan pick. It is very hard to find a C that fits with him.
