Another prospect to look for on the 2013 front is Jalin Marshall. He told Rivals and Scout tonight that he'll be announcing on the 31st. Kid is right there with Burrows as best in the state for his class.

David Perkins is announcing his decision at 3 PM on Wednesday. Cal, Illinois and OSU are in his top 3, and OSU is the only one out of those 3 that he has visited.

Go to ohiostate.scout.com and click on Buckeye recruiting. Decker and O'Connor have committed within the past week.

Edit: I mixed Perkins and Decker.. Perkins sounds like he's OSU bound and apparently will announce at some point today. On a side note, this recruiting show that Urban has been conducting is jaw-dropping.

The writing is most definitely on the wall here. I personally think he sees the spots drying up.

Marshall is my #1 prospect for '13. Just a dynamic playmaker. Getting him and Burrows locked up by the end of the month would be a huge start for next year's class.

I want Marshall real bad, & think he will be giving his verbal to the Buckeyes. But I think that also means the Buckeyes will come up short in the recruitment of Malik Zaire which kind of sucks. Maybe Zaire will realize Marshall has a way better shot at playing if he sticks to WR/ATH as opposed to the QB route he wants to pursue.

Reeves I think we are the likely choice at this point (If Williams is in fact a silent verbal)

I'm not sure if Marshall is being recruited at QB, to be honest. I see him more in that pure ATH role...lining up at WR, RB, and QB. I get precum thinking about him and Braxton running the zone read out of the spread. Zaire will definitely be recruited as a QB - and will be the heir apparent to Brax until Urban finds his Tebow/Newton.

I could definitely be wrong though - I'm just some douchebag who follows high school and college football players way too closely.

I read a couple articles that stated Meyer would give Marshall a look at QB and invited him to go through some throwing drills, but I think he fits much better in a Percy Harvin type of role for the OSU offense. Kid is going to be a flat out stud.

I think we're going to see the 2013 Ohio kids get locked down very early. Only one that's going to take some work is Dymonte Thomas, a scUM verbal. I still think Urban can flip him, considering Bri'onte Dunn is his cousin.
