vBookie: Browns @ Steelers

I was out of the country last Sunday on vacation and the Browns actually played well and won. So I expect a nightmare performance tonight :chuckles:

But still, this is a big game for the Browns and a chance to make something out of another lost season. The lines are anywhere between 7 and 9. We'll set it at 7.5 for vBookie purposes here.

I'm as big of a homer as anyone, and I still see no way the Steelers are going to cover 7.5 points. It may be a trap bet, but I wouldn't be throwing down on my guys this time no matter what. In short, I'm sitting this vBookie out, even with Cowher something like 20-5 vs the Browns.

I know what you mean RHF. And the Steelers will be without Polamalu, Brown, Wilson, and Ward (4 starters). Still, we are starting Anderson who is basically an unknown at this point. This game could go either way and should be fun, I hope. But every time I get a little bit of hope for the Browns they usually lay an egg.

The biggest names missing are Ward and Polamalu. Ward just has an uncanny ability to get open. And I'm sure you are tired of seeing Troy make plays vs you guys by now. I'd imagine the turf is going to be shit, seems to be steeler type weather. I think Santurdio might have a big game tonight....he's been very close to 4-5 really long tds this year.
