This man has the cheat code and I pray his body holds up because we’ll have a more exciting league with him in it.

The things performed in this video are as impressive as any pre-rookie performance I’ve seen since Lebron

Alternative takes are welcome, but wow… have to imagine everyone is tanking this year. Just since last summer highlight videos, his shooting is much better.

There will be a couple of teams whom we did not expect (hopefully from the East) who will sustain an injury and decide to flat out tank the rest of the year for even a small chance of getting this guy. Kinda like the Blazers did last year after the Dame injury. Victor's presence as an enticement to tank should help thin the herd in a congested Eastern conference (and give the Cavs more easy wins :celb (2):).

Oh how quickly people forget how the equally tall Porzingis looked when he came into the league. And he's doing this against NBA players. He was called a cheat code, a unicorn, a true generational talent, a future Hall of Famer.

The hysterical Wembayama hype is beyond ridiculous. We literally have no idea if he's able to to any of this against NBA defenses. Or if he's able to stay healthy. The track record of these guys is not good.

I understand Victor is a gamble every team wants to take, but that says more about the herd mentality of NBA GMs, as well as their inability and unwillingness to learn from history. Guys as big as Victor cannot stay healthy playing the NBA game. How many times do we need to see it?

There is a huge difference in their games.. Victor really looks like a tall Durant.

Idk if he'll have success or not, but a 7'4 guy draining fadeaway 3s like this... yeah, I get the excitement.

Yes, Victor looks promising. But let's pump the brakes.
So did Billy Preston. (The Next Lebron).

Lots of potential. I’m gonna keep an eye on this guy.

The one thing I would be a bit hesitant on is being a prisoner of the moment because, truth be told, he’s doing a lot of the same things that I did with the 1997-98 Armco Heating & Cooling Hornets…..

So we have seen this before.

The thing is though, that's not the shot he's gonna be taking in the league. At least it shouldn't be. You don't want your 7'4'' guy subsisting on the toughest, most inefficient shots in the game.

That's the kind of shot you take when you can't get a good look. So far, Victor's been facing inferior competition in Europe, but even there his offensive game is built on this stuff.

Hey, for all I know he may become an all time great. But IMO there is such a thing as being too tall in the NBA. You start getting fragile, your center of gravity is so high it negates the benefits of your height, and you really can't dribble against NBA defenders no matter how talented you are.

So, what is the closest historical comp for Victor? For the oldheads, how does he compare to someone like Ralph Sampson?
