gooden has just left the game with a strain somewhere, jones has admitted his slump and doesn't do anything about it, marshall is throwing up bricks, hughes is gone, mike brown is homer-ish not to play anderson varejao, wilks not making the most out of his layup opportunities snow refusing to take more 15-footers and most of all, zee chooses not to step it up, lebron trying to be a "kobe" which he is not... yes, please do not flower it up with anything anymore, we are officially going to fall OUT of the playoff picture at this rate... :thumbdown

Until Brown or any coach we have understands that LeBron is A MAGIC JOHNSON like PG, it won't work....
The Kid is a PG... Pure and simple... He can play off the ball, and that'a great and all, but he is a PG.... However, his two man game with Z is a "Stockton-Malone" type of pick and roll...His vision is crazy... His drive cannot be stopped, and his shot is much improved
The fact that our coach does not put LeBron in his proper position just makes me sick...
It creates so many mismatches on the court for the opposing team, and he excells at it every single time...
It's one thing when Larry is out there with the ball in his hands... But, if he's hurt, LeBron should run the show....
I know some will disagree... But, with no zone, it's almost comical nobody on our payroll seems to figure this out....

I knew we were going to struggle big time when Larry went out. But it's up to guys like Gooden, Ilgauskas, Jones, Marshall to step up their games, all they should be traded.

I think most people had this game marked as a loss before Hughes went down. I'm not to the point of total panic yet. We get beat by a horrible Portland team and you will see me panic.

the only thing that i don't like about playing Lebron at pg is that it will wear him down more than is needed. have someone else handle the ball and save Lebron for thos last minute shots that win games. that's how the lakers work kobe and how the bulls used jordan.
magic johnson was the showtime lakers ball handler and not their lead scorer. the scoring could be handed off to worthy or kareem. on our team Lebrom needs to be the go to scorer. conventional wisdom calls for someone else to bring up the ball.
this is a bit like saying that we should never let Lebron rest on the bench because he is so much better than the rest of the team. he is not a player like wilt chamberlain who can dominate the rest of the league. not yet.

losses to teams like the knicks is what pisses me off. were 5-4 @ the q vs sub .500 teams

Things are bad, but with drew injured I am not sure that a trade will go down. As I said earlier, if we have a bad road trip, we could see a trade, but Ferry i s patient and will not trade drew diminished. Outside of Drew we really don' t have many choices. Nobody is going to touch Jones right now and Marshall has been a positive on the whole.. We just have to suck it up and get through this time..
