we are officially screwed

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
this is scary... we haven't even gotten to the more difficult half of our 6 game road swing...

Portland had won 2 in a row.......us lost 3 in a row being a poor road team with injuries. Even if theyre the worst team in the West, its still 5 men against 5 men. We had a chance and lost it. We will turn it around.....

We can still win 2 of 3. Phoenix was the tough one. GS, Utah, and Denver......all winnable......We must believe, its only the game of basketball.......

if damon and marshall would start hitting shots we would be on a 4 game winning streak.

the cavs got 9 points from their bench, pathetic.

17-24 from the line which is a .704%, that is pathetic.

when this team is winning these two aspects are a lot better. no one is going to roll over because we have lebron or because we have a couple of players injured. teams get up to play us because "LEBRON JAMES IS COMING TO TOWN" portland is last in attendence and they have a sell out against us.

it sucks guys but what did you honestly think we would coast through this season.

we still have the third best record in the east and we are tied with the pacers so we are doing good. right up their with the elite teams in our conference. even if we get swept the next three games, we'll come home over .500. only five more games outside of our time zone after this month.

I have a question....What does Brown have these guys doing in practice??? This, more than anything else, makes me think that we are screwed. They can't play defense, they don't box out, and I'm not even sure they have an offense other than giving the ball to Lebron or Z and watching them go to the hole. I know Lebron and Z are good scorers, but we need more movement in our half court offense. We run the pick and roll once in a while and I know Lebron can take anyone to the hole whenever he wants, I just think we need more activity off the ball to stir up the defense so that when Lebron goes to the hole, it is not as easy for the defense to collapse on him.

I might just be fired up because last night's loss to Portland was so embarrassing, but watching that game made me seriously question our coach.

^ We're out two keys members of our starting line-up, one of whom drastically affects the offense. We lost by two points. It's not like we were blown out. I do think the offense needs some work, but how else do you 'work' a wide-open look for two seasoned veterans like Jones and Marshall? (Jones did shoot a little better last night.)

This is a tough stretch. If we can salvage 2 out of 3, I won't be too disappointed. Only Denver has a winning record at home. All of these teams are beatable.

ive seen posts in other cavs threads that portland and lakers are hot and rolling right now, but for your fyi, there is no such thing as an unbeatable team. all winning streaks come to an end, and it is the cavs job to be the party poopers, no excuses allowed. we can't say "oh they're on a winning streak that's why we lost... what a pathetic excuse." then by saying this, there is a logical flaw by our beating detroit's ass to end the year. they were on a winning streak weren't they? *sarcasm* oh please don't give the "there's no larry hughes and drew gooden" excuse because we didn't have them last year but we managed to clamber above .500. let me reiterate, there is no such thing as an invincible team, there is only a team who chooses to play sucky and the cavs are doing a very good job at it now (except for lebron and zee) what we are seeing now is suicide at its doldrums :thumbdown

We will win wednesday to break this losing streak.
