The only thing I'm really upset about with Colt is the credibility I lost with my peers by believing in him for a few games. I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for that lapse in judgment. If you'll remember, my original approach to Colt was exactly what it is now: negative, resentful, even spiteful.

I want to tell you here and now that NO Browns QB will gain my trust and respect for the remaining 8-10 games that I continue to be a Browns fan.

The obvious route here would be for me to hop on board with a team that has a young QB with a great arm, ideal size, and ability to make all the throws. I will be leaving this great group of fans for another great group of fans in Detroit to cheer on Matthew Stafford.

I'm sorry that it had to end this way, but I'm sure you can appreciate Stafford's movie star looks and love for the game as much as I can.

Go Lions!

I love you.

Detroit.... :jerkoff: fucking douche

WE NEED TO ADRESS OTHER POSITIONS FIRST.

We've been "addressing other positions first" ever since the end of the Tim Couch era while half-assing the quarterback position with mid-round draft picks, waiver-wire pickups and veteran free agents. Where has it gotten us?

At some point we have to get serious about drafting a franchise quarterback.

WE NEED TO ADRESS OTHER POSITIONS FIRST.

So do you think we should go WR and O-Line in round 1? What about 2 WRs? Our O-Line is bad, but you shouldn't take a RT or Guard in the 1st round. So with 2 picks, why can't we go QB, WR, then O-Line in the second round? I don't understand why you seem to think we can't add to position of need and get a QB at the same time. One does not preclude the other when a lot of the things we need can be found after the 1st round.

This.

Someone else mentioned Trent Richardson. Dude is a monster. I mean if we are talking play makers, and the Hillis situation doesn't pan out, why not grab a beast of a back and a WR.

Though I am still of the opinion we should look to make a defensive pick within those first three. CB, LB and another end could benefit this team; maybe a ball hawking FS.

Some team with a lot of other needs is going to go ahead and draft Andrew Luck anyway.

I don't get this fascination with Andrew Luck. Like every other college QB he hasn't proven squat in the NFL. For all we know he may be a head case like Ryan Leaf.

This year is the year to draft a QB. There are a lot of talented QBs that will be draft eligible it just depends on what you are looking for.

Andrew Luck
Robert Griffin III
Landry Jones
Matt Barkley
Nick Foles
Case Keenum
Kellen Moore

With what we spent on the Defense the past couple years (Draft wise) This year I think we go offense. It will be some combination of RB, WR, QB, RT in the first with the rest getting picked up in rounds 2-3

Depending on where we pick and what is available I can see us going after one of the QBs early (Landry may fall to our second pick though).

IMO We definately need to come out with a QB in round 1. Then we can use the second pick on either Te'o or a WR (Flyod, Sanu, Toon). In the second go with an OT (Adams, Levy Adcock) and in the third go with someone like (LaMichael James, or Cyrus Gray)

I'm reading this as jealousy for the ease with which I'm cutting ties with the Browns. Detroit is a great city, my man. Real estate hasn't dropped in years, its a hub of car manufacturing, and most importantly...the Lions play there.

How does it make you feel to know that my new team has three players that will be considered top 3 at their position in the next 3yrs?

Stafford, Suh, and Johnson are better at their respective positions than anyone in the history of Browns franchise history, with the minor exception of Otto Graham.

The thing about the Lions that I know you'd like is that they didn't get to where they are by sucking for a few years.

Sorry...

Depending on where we're drafting I would like to see either a QB (Barkley, RGIII or Jones) or Morris Claiborne with our pick. And either Michael Floyd or Riley Reiff with Atlanta's pick (if its still in the teens).

This pretty much sums up Detroit City.

Would it be acceptable if I borrowed this for the next big 38 year old retiree candidate Tribe acquisition?
