With the 153rd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select Tony Fields, LB West Virginia

An awesome linebacker with production. Love the pick.

We have an MO. Either athlete or production. Fields is production. He's strong in coverage, and probably backs up JOK at whatever position he plays

I totally forgot about this kid after the JOK pick, way to double down on safety LB hybrids awesome value for this system

Might push Mack Wilson for a roster spot some day soon. Not overly athletic, was productive in college, but could have been 7th round or undrafted.

A bit of a reach and might have been there in the 6th round. But crap its a 5th round pick, if Berry saw something, take him.

Whats the worst that happens? Doesnt work out and he is cut as a 5th rounder? That could set the Browns back minutes. LOL

At this point, assuming that some guy would be there in a later round is pretty much a WAG. There's enough variation between team boards and draftnik boards that it is far too easy to be wrong.

Elite 10-yd split. Explosive player.

I dont see it on this one, but the issue becomes I trust Berry allot more than I trust myself in evaluating talent. Seems like a 6th round talent at best.

Obviously Berry saw something he liked, maybe interview? Maybe that explosiveness in short yardage? With Linebackers like Takitaki, Wilson and Phillips, I think he might end up on practice squad or knock out a recent pick like Wilson.

I guess I like Mack WIlson so much as a hype man, I hate to see someone that could potentially take his roster spot? lol

Mack Wilson is absolutely gone.

Lol, i am a mortgage loan officer who just watched my first tape of this guy, never heard of him but came away unimpressed. Berry in his first year as a GM took a team that won its first playoff game since the first Bush was president, lol (actually i think early Clinton, but still)

Yeah, I know more than Berry for sure, just look of my track record of being a mortgage guy. Missing on 5th round picks after we have made 2 4th round picks and picked one up for next year already. How could we ever forgive Berry?

In all honesty probably becomes a probowl LB and I once again prove why i am not a GM, lol
