We're screwed.. "PANIC BUTTON TIME" The team is Stupid.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why is Drew always the scapegoat. Its time to point fingers at more than drew and damon. larry Hughes is not getting the job done and Donyell is either hit or miss.

I am going to sleep on it and hope somehow the Cavs just start playing like they are good again.

Damon Jone's is probably the worst defender I have ever layed my eyes on. I think he is worse then JMac to tell you the truth. This guy just lets people pass him up, he lets people have easy buckets. He has no balls to foul someone driving the lane. He just lets them score and runs to the other side of the court and chucks it up.

Donyell is doing nothing but jacking up threes on offense. I like his inside game, and he also has a good midrange jumper. He doesn't even do any of that. He just jacks up a forced trey, sometimes they sink, most of the time they don't.

I can't really blame Gooden for anything. He is doing his job out there, as long as he isn't alley-ooping the ball off the glass to himself, I am fine with what he's doing. Just rebound and keep your mouth shut.

Z is doing everything he can to help this team on offense. It's just too bad that he get's into foul trouble because of our weak defenders at the 3 point line.

I cannot wait til AV and Newble come back. Some extra bodies to give out some hard fouls would be nice. This team is afraid to be aggressive.

Gooden is soft... He pouts when it doesn't go his way... Teams can easily take him outta the game mentally...

As long as he remains on that frontline with #11... We go nowhere... get used to it unless he changes his ways...

I've seen no evidence of it...

There is a great disturbance in the Cavalier Force. The seeds of fear and doubt have been planted in the hearts of many fans. Dispel the Dark Side we must.

^ Oh man that's funny HPD. Please use Force Transfer on me, I'm running low after lastnight's game. :chuckles:

I am also low on energy....

I feel a 33 win season approaching

The Force is strong with you Kypus. You are truly an RCF Force Wielder. It is too early to turn to the Dark Side. We need more Cavalier Jedis. I fear we may have lost LePip. For him it is not too late.......

I hate to say it but we'll be better soon with Newble of all ppl comes back. He's not great but he'll provide some physical presence back. It will look A LOT better when AV comes back as well. With those two and hopefully Hughes recovering from whatever ailments are effecting him we will turn it around.

This teams has holes but it is clearly a far better team then last year

On a side note: this team misses Tractor Traylor. He was a real emotional leader and provided that toughness inside that we are currently lacking. Hopefully Av and Newble will provide this but right now we're a soft team

Last I heard, Tractor wants to get back in the league around the all star break. Signing him then would be great.

^ and ^^ *If* we have the roster room, sounds good to me. I thought resigning Tractor was a no-brainer, then we didn't for salary cap reasons (prudent). I wanted him them to resign him later but I guess he was truly mad at us. If he doesn't hold the grudge, it would be a great shot in the arm to get Tractor and AV back together.

Lebron is playing 1-man ball anyway, might as well create the Turnover Forcing Unit from Hell for a different 2nd unit- AV/Tractor/Newble/Hughes or Snow to run with Lebron. I know that sounds like last year's lineup, but AV and Tractor had an awesome chemistry in their limited floor time together. Tractor is worthless without AV, but together they are energy unleashed.

Tractor couldn't pass our physical because of a heart abnormality. He recently had heart surgery to repair the problem. He is on the shelf for a while but says he'd like to play this year. He has had to limit his activity since the surgery so I have to think he is a long way from playing condition. He's got to be a couple months a way at best.
I'd love to see him back and I think the Cavs would too....time will tell.

the interview I believe after the surgery was where I heard he was targeting the all star break for his return to the NBA. We have roster space since Hamilton doesn't have a guaranteed contract.

Forget TRACTOR (And I love that guy)

We need some depth behind Jordan2k and Hughes...

Sasha is hurt (I couldn't tell the difference to be honest)

Striker---------->

is just not bringing it..

We need some depth behind these two..

Not to mention the following:

Interior defenders

Perimeter defenders

Toughness

A quick PG that can set up players.

Better floor spacing

Better shot selection

Our "C" not getting in foul trouble

Other then that, we are great...

lepip sounds like a troll in cav's clothing. he seems to be awfully negative just because we lost a couple of games. we still have one of the best records in the east. anyone who thought that damon jones could play defense or that donyell marshall was more than a solid rebounder who can shoot three's is delusional. the entire nba knows the limitations of those players. they were free agents this summer and the entire league took a pass on them. ferry did the right thing to sign them, who else was out there? and hughes is playing up to his career numbers. he is not a ray allen or michael red. he's a larry hughes. no time allstar, one time first team all-defense. he's having his career best year from the three point line. he's scoring more points than his career average. he is not scotty pippen.

the west is markedly better than the east. look at espn's power rankings. only two east teams in the top eight. since we play in such a weak conference, it should be easy for us to make the playoffs. we have to do better than we did last year, especially after the trade deadline. we are better than the lottery teams at the bottom of the east standings. have some faith.

that yoda guy?

what he said.
