Cavs have to realize that energy big's often run out of steam in their early 30's. A valuable player with an expiration date isn't what you want on a rebuilding team. Rebuilding teams trade that to teams that want to win now. If the NBA plays basketball next year and Andy can show that he's healthy, you can bet that the Cavs will try to trade him for future front court help while his value is high. But that won't happen until Andy can show that he's healthy.
The Cavs could get the best value from Andy from a losing team that isn't ready to commit to a full rebuild and needs an active help defender who can rebound to shore up a soft front court.
Sounds like Andy could go to Toronto.
If only Toronto had the draft rights to a Center that the Cavs like.
Most player start to run out of gas in their 33 - 35 yr range not just energy big's. AV is 29 if he can stay productive for the next 4 years that give 4 drafts and up to 7 1st round pick to find a replacement. I maybe in the minority here but I see Andy as above average starter for the next two years and a top backup the rest of his contract.
