Why Larry Dolan Needs to Sell the Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We already have Prince Fielder. He's taking the place of the ballboy in right field tonight.

Off topic, but my god D-WAIT3. Have you noticed the edit button yet or are you just going to keep flooding the threads you get into arguments in with countless posts, back-to-back, replying to the same damn thing? Do browsers a favor and edit your damn posts if you are going to keep replying to the same post over and over again.

Eloquent.

"How it would benefit" fans is based on your fantasy land of believing this team can sustain a 100 million dollar payroll and afford players like Prince Fielder...which, of course...is ridiculous.

It's realistic but not with this owner! We had a 98 million team salary in 1998 so dont tell me we canty afford it...Get out of your dream world

Get the Browns to leave town and it's done, guaranteed!

I don't know what's worse, D-Wait3's posts or the Indians losing streak. Leaning towards D-wait...

http://www.stevetheump.com/Payrolls.htm Visit that and look at 2001...The Cleveland Browns Were Playing In 2001 no?

First of all, Dolan owned the team in 2001.

Secondly, they were already committed to that payroll with guys who were entering their free agent years.

Quite frankly, they should have done a better job of selling off their assets that year...if anything.

We were so close to getting rid of the whole Dan Gilbert/whoever needs to own the Indians, so they can increase the payroll to 150million. So close..

Correct me if im wrong, but that's the year Juan Gon brought his talents and steroids to cleveland right? Were they not in contention that year? Thought they lost in the first round of the play-offs that year. Boy did they get a good package for Colon though.. my god.

If he wants to hang on to the team he needs to take the name "Cleveland" off the uniforms. I'm insulted by this team.
